Our 10th year at this amazing hotel but have been possibly about 12 times! I love this hotel. The staff are the biggest asset they have. Greeted by George, who is absolutely the best and will do anything for you, and Jaime, who is new but has fitted in perfectly. Check in was seamless. Aline, who is now the Guest Experience Manager, checked us in as George wasn't officially working and Jaime was busy. Aline is brilliant as GEM. In fact, she is a GEM!!!! Nothing is too much trouble and everything she does is done with a smile. The Sensi Crew has changed a little with Diego heading them up. He was fantastic. Lorena has taken over the choreography of the team and their shows were the best! Paige sings twice a week and is fantastic. Lorena joins her for this show and sings with her and they make the most amazing team. One of the best shows at the hotel this year! Nacho, Aleixa and Armand have boundless energy and make you feel so warm and welcome. Not a day went by when I didn't get to chat to them on the terrace, and usually with a good morning hug!!!! What a Crew!!! The bar team work tirelessly and never stop smiling, despite some very rude guests who never say please or thank and demand things very rudely. Peter, Fran, Salma, Juan Ja, Everesto (hope I spelt that correctly), Sergio and Robert - I can't thank you enough for making every day feel like I was amongst friends. Always a smile and a little bit of a giggle. Martin - I miss your smiley face and warm welcome when we saw you!!! I am sorry if I have missed anyone as you are all brilliant at your jobs. Don't tire of being friendly to those who are kind to you. The restaurant staff work hard and are always making sure that there is nothing left on the tables so you can enjoy your meal. The food isn't quite to my liking everyday but I always found something - although a lot of the time it was a little cold. Breakfast and lunch were our favourites. They have theme nights and sometimes I personally found them a little lacking for vegetarian dishes but this was never a problem. As I say, I never went without!!! The cleaners work their socks off to ensure that everyone gets a good clean room. It is every other day unless you request otherwise. Always friendly and courteous, and always a smile and an "hola" when you saw them around the hotel. The pools and areas around them are kept spotless. Despite being a family hotel now, we didn't find it over crowded. The "quiet pool", now comes under the family element but was still quiet and relaxing. The main pool by the bar gets a littler busier but has quiet, pleasant music and is fun and relaxing still. The kids pool is obviously busier but is great for the children. The snack bar is really great with lots of hot snacks, fruit, ice cream, soft drinks and beer.
