Very accommodating staff. Always a pleasant stay in Red Planet Hotel.

Better than my last visit. No cockroaches and mosquitoes this time.

Sorry but i was very disappointed with this booking. Mosquitoes are everywhere and take note i saw cockroach under the blanket. Very bad! 😒

its just a plain hotel. nothing special. and its already kinda old building.

This is our favorite hotel in Cagayan de Oro for the location and it is a walking distance to the other malls(Ketkai and centrio).

Booked the hotel due to good rating on Agoda but… Situated right beside SM mall, food and services just 1 min from doorstep. Generally easy to get a taxi or Grab. There is a cafe right at the doorstep of the hotel where you can have breakfast but service is slow and coffee machine was down during my star. Staff service is very basic but the higher rating due to swift service recovery. I checked in at 11pm+ and was first assigned a room on the 5th floor. When I walked in, I saw a cockroach on the duvet. I managed I get rid of it. Then I noticed large black ants crawling on the pillow. As I was tired, I just needed to sleep. I rolled down the duvet, I noticed the duvet was very yellowish on the inside, I started to wonder if it was even changed. When I woke up the next day, I saw more ants crawling on the bed. The soap dispenser is the toilet was broken.. the faucet is 2/3 clogged by lime scale.. the tiles in the shower area is squishy as it is possibly dislodge from the ground. Overall, this room looks very tired with moulds on walls and ceilings. Then I noticed that there were 30-40 smacked ants on the floor beside the bed. It felt like the housekeeping was shabby. When I returned to the room in the evening, I was greeted by large cockroach running around and more ants on the bed. By this time, I took photos of the situation and showed it to the staff. They quickly reassigned me to another room. I checked in and it felt 10X cleaner with no creepies in sight. Though the ceilings are still mouldy and soap dispenser also broken, I could imagine a better sleep and accepted this room. Checkout was efficient. Unfortunately, I would never stay here again.

Location is good, its in the downtown area of CDO. The room is clean and has a cold aircon. Though there's no netflix for the TV and the sink does not easily drain, overall, the experience is very good.

The hotel has nice location..accessible to malls nearby..I will recommend this hotel to travelers.

The hotel's location was very accessible to malls in the city with just a walking distance and the room was very clean which just serves its price. Overall experience was excellent.

The service was good. The rooms were very clean. But its better to take the breakfast by yourself in the Pancake House. Because than you have a very good one.

good location , service and facilities is better expected from a budget hotel. will stay here again.
