Boardwalk Burleigh Beach - Official

We loved our stay! The apar**ent was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Really nice decor and a good location. Only a short walk to the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed as a family of 9 across 2 apar**ents, one 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom. The two bedroom rm 71 was not well appointed as only had one small sofa in living area, so family could not sit together. There is a highway at the back of the property and even with double glazing the road noise is horrendous, definitely not a relaxing beach location as described online. Beds were comfortable though what is going on with the horrendous smelly polarfleece blankets and a sheet(clean) on every bed. Suggest you bring your own bedding as certainly not luxury. There is no daily cleaning service at all. On top of this visitors are expected to clean before leaving, this is probably why the apar**ent is so grubby, dirty inside glass, bathrooms, yellow stained toilet seat, dishes not washed properly in the cupboards. You are required to pay for pool towels. Had also needed to pay an extra fob bond of $50 to get access between the two rooms we booked. All these concerns were raised with reception and whilst service was good and friendly no resolution was offered or remedies made apart from the promise to send the housekeeper up but they never arrived. She explained that all rooms are owned privately hence the lack of furniture in lounge. The problem is we didn’t book with the owner we booked with Boardwalk Burleigh so they need to take some responsibilities for the state of what they are selling. Location is ok if wanting the beach. With so many great options for accomodation, I would not stay here again.

First impression was great. Ticked all the boxes for a comfortable stay. Location is very convenient.

We stayed for 10 days in a 2 bedroom apar**ent in this perfectly placed apar**ent building. Its a reasonably new building and we usually stay at Broadbeach so new for us! The apar**ent was well equip but we would have liked a few more plates as you have to wash them after each meal by hand, not enough to start the dishwasher. The position is perfect if you like to wander into the main ***** and eat out (we do) and there are many lovely restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. The girls on the desk were so incredibly helpful, wasn't a thing they wouldn't do for you. The apar**ent is very spacious and as we were travelling with our daughter and one grandchild there was plenty of room for toys and gear you need when you travel with littlies. The pool area is lovely but a little on the small side in school holidays as it fills up quite easily when there are a few families in residence. on the whole we had a very positive experience and loved most things about the place, would definitely stay here again!

This was my third year staying at the Boardwalk - it just feels like home and is far away enough from Surfer's Paradise to be appealing.

I arrived at 5 minutes to 2pm after a very long drive and they said I had to go and come back at 2pm to check in. I thought that was a bit ridiculous. The traffic is horrible on Gold Coast highway there, I had to go around the block once and come back to check in.

Did not like the view we had. We looked out onto a construction site, 3 cranes and a main road. We paid for an ocean view. Expected to be facing due north instead we faced due south. Very disappointing.

The rooms had limited provisions. Kitchen - no salt/pepper, no sugar, poor selection of cutting knives - couldnt cut a tomato. One towel for whole week and had to pay $3 for a pool towel. Furniture and carpet were stained. Otherwise, friendly and accommodating staff, great location.
