Beachside Resort Kawana Waters

Amazing place to stay perfect location close to everything you would want for a fantastic weekend away My partner and myself stayed for the weekend definitely give it a 5 star rating.Thanks so much to Julie and Simone we can’t thank you guys enough for everything you did and making it the best weekend we’ve had in years you guys are amazing. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our penthouse apar**ent, photos look amazing but in reality not so much Bathroom door would not even close,no fly screens on windows at all,very dated hardware throughout, main ensuite fan would not turn off, main bathroom did not even have an exhaust fan,gym was tiny and outdated and not even set out correctly for use at all. For the amount of money we paid we were very disappointed to say the least.

Was absolutely amazing kids really liked it although we only got one night and spent most the day at the hospital for daughter surgery was a nice place kids loved the tennis before we left

Nice view and decor, very spacy. Quiet area, close to shop and beach.

It was great for a 5 night stay, close to the shops, restaurants, clubs and beach.

Our stay was fantastic, the rooms were very nice and the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful loved it. We would stay here again.

We stayed for three nights in January ,they only had the downstairs courtyard hot tub apar**ent available.we would have preferred a view. When we got there it was raining ,there was a cane couch with large think foam cushioning ,getting wet . We went inside ,so dark you could hardly see ,it was an older style .low ceilings and nice big rooms .two bathrooms and kitchen . The furniture was completely outdated and needed replacing . I sat on the couch which had an ingrained smell ,with really old scatter cushions ,that didn’t match and were smelly ,we put them outside the whole time . Then I sponged the couch down ,and aired it …we ended up buying upholstery cleaner to clean it / get the smell out . The sheer curtains were not shear because of the mildew . The air conditioner smelt mostly so we didn’t use it . There was mould on the roof in the second bedroom . The bed had a blanket ( wool type) I don’t think this would be washed between guests ,Covid ! Not that I know that. The fridge had a really bad smell as well. The empty shampoo was still in the shower . It was dark and dingy n even when the sun was out . When I left I spoke to someone about this .They explained how they were individually owned and the owner it was up to the owner to fix them . Very hard for them . This apar**ent should not be rented ,and at least you should be warned and it should be much less than $245 a night . We have now moved to Surfside a few hundred mtre away ,on the beach ,three bedroom with views and it great condition .same price for 2 bedroom . I’m sure lots of the apar**ents are fantastic ,we got the bad one .

This property is well maintained for its age. Close to the beach and major shops, staff were friendly and very helpful. Accomodation was at a great price too! Definitely be going back!
