Hotel dengan Sarapan Pagi di York

On the surface, this cozy place is probably a good bet for a stay in York. It's just enough outside of the city center to avoid all the tourists, but close enough to walk right in. The reservation process was great and the price is good. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel and, in many senses, it lives up to that status. The staff is excellent. The food and coffee is very good and everyone is very attentive. The rooms are immaculate (heated bathroom floors are amazing!) and the amenities are great. That all said, there are some issues . Often the staff cleans the front area in the middle of the afternoon, which is a rather inconvenient time to clean as it is disruptive to the guests. Though the summer would be different, it was in the low 40's when we were there and heating in the lobby doesn't seem to be a priority for the hotel. We had to have someone set up a space heater for us in the tea room so we could stay warm, which was a bad look (tacky) for them. The biggest issue, however, we that they held a wedding event on the second say we were there. While it's completely understandable for hotels to host events, this particular location is ill suited to do so given the noise level of the event and the small quarters of the hotel. They had a live band, which sent the music to most of the rooms, making sleeping nearly impossible. Though they did move our room, we still heard the band, who played until almost midnight. Having a bunch of wedding guests being loud all lover the hotel also didn't help. The staff agreed with my assessment, which was to either not have events at all or, if they do, block out the rooms from being rented since it is impossible to merge the hotel with an event space. it's just too small. Ultimately, they need to make a decision about who they are as a brand, event space or 4 star hotel. I'd pitch they choose hotel because that is what it really is.

Incredible hotel with the friendliest staff! The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed, service from all staff was faultless, and location is just a short walk from the city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in York, whether for business or pleasure!

Arrived after a 4 hour delay on our train, when we told desk staff they where very helpful even gave us a complementary drink. All areas we used where very clean. We had a low level Queen room i thought it was a bit small and basic for the price we paid (£180) 2chairs desk big tv and bed. No view except the wall of the street.I was awake from 6am as room was under dining area and I think kitchen could hear banging and chairs scraping the floor. We where both very disappointed with breakfast.. The full English just wasn't! Scrambled egg, sausage bacon grilled tomato and hash brown and beans poor quality products and hash browns and tomes had run out a waite was over 5mins with rest of food going cold on plate. So did with out. Cold meat and cheese !!! Processed ham and cheese tasteless...what happend to local products? Staff where lovely at all times and located close to station

一棟小別墅，房間整潔乾淨，很温馨安靜，服務很好很熱情，我們住3樓，沒有電梯，行李箱都是店家幫拿上房間的，停車也算方便。周住環境不錯，出行也方便，沿河邊步行20分鐘邊觀景過走很快就到達鬧市區的旅遊景點，唯有早餐很貴。一天兩晚還算是愜意的體驗吧。

Perfect location close to the train station Easy check-in with lovely staff. Room was fine for us and a short walk to city centre, we didn't need any taxis. Lovely bar area with views.

Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.

Cleanliness and tidiness impressed me most. The reception service is brilliant and staff are always with smiling faces. I will suggest to my friends and family to stay in Holiday Inn York whenever they visit York.

Hotel ini berada tepat di luar tembok kota York. Seharusnya hotel ini diubah dari rumah tua. Kami tinggal di townhouse dan rasanya seperti memiliki lantai kayu, jadi insulasi suaranya sangat buruk dapat mendengar suaranya. Tangga lurus yang sempit hanya ada satu sehingga menyulitkan untuk membawa barang bawaan. Ruangannya sebesar yang terlihat di foto, namun perabotan dan fasilitasnya terasa sangat mendasar. Apalagi di kamar mandi, jumlah air di shower sangat sedikit, kurang nyaman untuk mencuci rambut, dan perlengkapan mandi yang disediakan juga sangat rata-rata. Satu-satunya titik terang adalah tidak ada biaya parkir, tetapi tempat parkir tidak banyak. Walaupun variasi sarapannya tidak banyak, tapi rasanya lumayan enak. Kalau banyak orang harus antri.
