York Pavilion Hotel, BW Signature Collection by Best Western

Hotel looked beautiful, had garden space, huge parking area. Checking in was easier. Room was smaller than expected as there was not enough space to lounge. Furniture was beautiful and spacious bathroom. Only thing was put off with sheets which was itchy and gave me a rash. The hotel is near to bus stand and easy to commute. Near to pub supermarket and park.

Lovely hotel , clean lovely room Comfy bed  Friendly staff  Excellent breakfast 🍳

Quiet room, outside view is very nice. The price is very good.

Good location which close to dpwn town.

Lovely hotel with a lot of history in an excellent location - has the added bonus of a bus stop right outside with buses travelling directly into the city centre. The staff are very warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. Will definitely return!

Avoid this hotel if you’re expecting modern standards. The room has visible metal wear on fixtures, an unpleasant damp smell, and generally looks tired. Breakfast was poor, more like a cheap carvery. Overall, it’s not worth the money compared to other chain hotels nearby. Only suitable if your expectations are not high.

We only used the accommodation for two nights without breakfast or any other meals. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and the coffee was great. The decor was really nice with a jazz feel. It was very quaint and vintage. I would imagine a stay in the summer would be very nice as the courtyard was very pretty and peaceful.

The room and facility were excellent. Breakfast was available, but I didn't partake. It's a shame they didn't offer dinner; however, I was told they'll start dinner service in a few weeks. They suggested the pub down the road, The Ploughman. I therefore went down. Very disappointing. The hotel should have known you need to make a booking. I therefore had to sit outside with the smokers. Definitely not appropriate. I can't remember what I ate, so the meal was not memorable.

Cheap accomadation for york.5mins on bus into centre.Has its own car park.Does need updating.Friendly staff but hotel needs bringing up to date.
