TTamuHad a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.
The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.
The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.
The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.
The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.
Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual.
All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

TTamuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

OOlgaBelozubперсонал стал сразу решать проблему с нашими российскими переводами, не стал нас особо напрягать по этому поводу, мало того, нам бесплатно дали второй номер (аппартаменты), потому что, когда увидели рост нашего ребенка, сказали, что на софе (диване) ему будет не удобно, по росту он впритык помещался…, короче, мы в шоке! Приятном шоке!) апартаменты огромные, отлично укомплектованы, очень просторная ванна-душ, супер чисто! До центра- мах минут 15 пешком, лучше пройтись , чем в шумном, проблемном центре снимать жильё (в историческом центре проблемы: вода, канализация, грохот). В общем, этот отель рекомендую!

TTamuGood for a sleep and a shower, but I'd be sad to have to stay more than one night. It's one up from a tent. Double bed room is a bed above another bed on mezzanine floor with a steep ladder to practice mountain climbing. Sound is a problem here as it migrates from next door and outside. Bring ear plugs

TTamuStarting with the good things, the price is good, location is excellent literally 20 m from the main area, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, it has onsite parking, and despite obvious limitations the room was clean. However the hotel is very tired and needs some major investment in regards to maintenance to bring it up to a decent standard, our room was small which wasn’t a problem but things like locks missing screws, the toilet push not fitted right, paintwork scuffed and chipped etc really let the place down. Unfortunately what didn’t help was a drunken guest trying to kick a door in at midnight added to the poor review, I realise that the hotel can’t select its guests but I suppose if you book a budget hotel you may get budget clientele
