Thimble Islands Bed & Breakfast

We got married at the Thimble Islands bed-and-breakfast…. What a wonderful experience! The owners, Julie and Tony, were amazing. We had the time of our life. Breakfasts tasted so good with beautiful views of the Long Island sound and thimble Islands. Julie and Tony went out of their way to make sure everything was a perfect experience for the guests. The egret room we stayed in was spacious and very clean and comfy. We look forward to going back to the bed-and-breakfast every year❤️. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special.

This place is a hidden gem. Charming and quaint, with amazing views of the Sound and the Thimble Islands. Julie & Tony are consummate hosts. On our fist night there, they invited us to sit by the fireplace for wine and cheese, and both mornings they spoiled us with a delicious home-made breakfast that we enjoyed while enjoying the beautiful view of the Sound. This is a very special bed and breakfast. Julie and Tony are excellent innkeepers who ensured that we had a wonderful time in this beautiful corner of Connecticut. We stayed in the Heron suite which had fantastic views of the water and the Thimble Islands. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and the opportunity to chat with our hosts whose recommendations for local sightseeing were much appreciated.

This gem of a house sits on the most spectacular settings—right on the water. One of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. The owners are lovely and friendly and super accommodating. Breakfast is a treat—a mushroom gorgonzola omelette or crème brûlée french toast. It is well worth the trip.

Our stay was over the top! Julie and Tony are so friendly and helpful. Accommodations superb, with breathtaking views. Delicious breakfasts. Charming town. They even made dinner reservations for us at a fabulous Italian restaurant. We were sad to say goodbye. Needless to say, we highly recommend it!

Our stay at the Thimble Islands Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The B&B is beautiful, nestled in a picturesque location that offers breathtaking harbor views and the Thimble Islands. Our room, the Heron, was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast that featured piping hot coffee, fresh fruit and tempting selections of pancakes, crème brulee and omelets. The innkeepers were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The Thimble Islands Bed and Breakfast Inn exceeded our expectations. The combination of outstanding service, cozy accommodations, and stunning surroundings makes it a true gem. We can't wait to return for another visit!
