Stanza e bagno impeccabili, molto puliti. Stanza singola non molto spaziosa. Colazione ottima. Personale della reception molto gentile!

Very good location, clean, comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. The reception staff really did go above and beyond to help out, firstly when I needed to change my booking to accommodate my son who decided to travel with us at the last minute and secondly when he needed to see a doctor on a Sunday. The receptionist did some research and found an excellent out of hours service. Very grateful.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff (reception, breakfast and housekeeping). Rooms very clean and breakfast was great. Absence of a bar not noticeable as plenty nearby.

This hotel always seems to have a poor organisation. This is the second year we've visited, and for the second year in a row. They did not live up to the expectations of a hotel. Last year, they tried to put one of us in a random room of someone else, because they were fully booked. We would not accept that, and we demanded that he would get a room of his own. After some discussion they finally managed to get us two rooms for five people (like they promised). This year, they nearly made the same mistake, but worse. They told us before we got in, that the last day, our double room would have to be split up into two single rooms. We this is already a bit strange, because we didnt think they had two single rooms. But the evening that our double room would have to be split up, they suprised us again. They moved one of our suitcases to another room, along with a bed, where three others were sleeping, people we didnt even know. For the other, they did the same, but there they even picked up the stuff of two random guests, without telling, and moved everything to another room, where they (again) put one extra bed and our suitcase. They thought we would sleep together with random people. Also, they entered someones room, without consultation, and grabbed theyre stuff. Wich also leads me to believe that i cant trust my hotel with my belongings. After finding out they lied about all hotels in bologna being full, we managed to get a room in a different hotel, because they (again) overbooked themselves.

Hotel Academia is a great location and value. Clean comfortable rooms. Close to town center and university.

Hotel was well located (near restaurants and sights). The staff were really friendly and helpful. Great experience for a first time in Italy visitor!

We stayed in hotel Accademia for 5 nights in a double room with a double bed of good quality. Average roomsize and bathroom with shower (not a lot of waterpressure), sink and toilet. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was sufficient and varied: bread, fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, scrambled eggs, toast cheese and ham, yoghurt. Staff was very friendly. Street is a bit noisy.

Nice staff. Shower door would not close, complained on day 2 of6, not fixed before we left. Maintenance man on holiday so the tiny bathroom was drenched every day. This is not a small hotel, the single toaster in the breakfast room broke on the 2nd morning, when I enquired re replacement I was told it had been ordered, but it wouldn’t be there for a week. Extraordinary. I could have bought one in half an hour, and how about a bit of contingency? Bathroom tiny and mould in shower compartment. Unacceptable noise from within the building overnight. Really not good enough.

I had a single comfort room in this hotel. It did look a little like a student let with dark blue wall and dated furniture. But The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable The bathroom was dated but again spotless and very functional Breakfast was basic but adequate. It is definitely in a great position to walk around and view the city. I did feel it was a little bit pricey But hey it Italy
