"We were quite shocked to be charged £14 for overnight parking when the room itself only cost £45/50. That’s almost a third of the room price again just to park the car. There was no clear information about this charge when booking. It was only at check-in that we were asked if we needed parking, and after saying yes, we were directed to a screen and told to pay £14 for overnight parking. This felt misleading and poorly communicated. Parking charges should be clearly stated at the time of booking so guests know the full cost upfront. Unfortunately, this really took away from our overall experience."

"Although the hotel is a little tired it represents good value for money. The room was spacious and clean with Wi-Fi included. You have to ask if you want your room to be cleaned each day but I had no need for this. Extra tea, coffee and milk was available at the reception desk for you to help yourself. My room also had a small fridge but in several visits to the hotel I have never had this before, suggesting that I was upgraded. The main complaint is the price of drinks at the bar but there is a pub just over the public car park as well as cheap drinks in town."

"Location best spot in Blackpool. 4 minutes walk from the Railway Station. Premier Inn Restaurant excellent Food at their Cookhouse Pub. Sirloin Steak cooked to perfect. So tender with a little garlic butter for added taste, had it THREE NIGHTS RUNNING. Delicious. Restaurant staff, best I,v come across ever in a Premier Inn. Tom the man and Beckie so pleasant and cheerful. Premier Inn Plus Rooms are really exceptional value for money. Fridge, Chocolates Coffee Machine etc etc"

"A stay to remember… for better and worse I’ll start with the highlight: the staff at Blue Waters Hotel were absolutely exceptional. Warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly—they made me feel like I’d wandered into a live episode of Fawlty Towers, minus the chaos. Their charm and effort were the saving grace of my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in serious need of TLC. My room’s curtains detached dramatically and collapsed to the floor, leaving my window fully exposed to the car park and main street. Not ideal—especially with a rather sad pile of rubbish lingering in the corner outside. The leisure facilities didn’t fare much better. The pool was cloudy and didn’t feel well maintained, and the sauna was out of order during my visit. A shame, as I’d been looking forward to a relaxing dip. Dinner was, frankly, disappointing. We ordered roasted pork, which arrived cold, and the vegetables were so overcooked they seemed to have time-traveled from the previous night’s menu. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but the quality was just about passable. In short: brilliant staff, but the hotel itself needs a refresh—both in decor and dining. If you’re coming for the laughs and location, you might enjoy it. If you’re after comfort and cuisine, you may want to look elsewhere."

The bedroom and carpets were really tired, however, and need a revamp to match the quality hotel foyer. We found the mattresses uncomfortably soft and didn't sleep well, so assume these were old too. A really mixed experience, but on balance the positive outweighed the negatives. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommend getting tram passes on app. before you arrive as need proof of children's DOB from passport or birth certificate. The tram stop is really conveniently opposite the hotel. Excellent reliable service :-)"

"Hi I stayed in this hotel in room 109 arriving on Friday 27th March with my son for 2 nights we were greeted on arrival and explained clearly the parking options and the Food times because we had arrived later at night We had our food in the hotel at 9pm and my son who is 15 said that the burger he had was amazing so good that we ordered the same food the next night great value for a main meal and dessert for £14.99 I would also like to say a big thanks for returning a ring to my house that I had left at the hotel I am so grateful it meant a lot to me and it arrived safely We will be back again and soon I travel a lot for work and this is the best Travelodge that I have stayed in by a mile all due to the great staff working there nothing is any problem even asking for an iron at 7am (forgot to pack ours) Again thanks for returning my ring"

"I’ve stayed at The Imperial several times but this time we decided to include evening dinner. Cauliflower and Lancashire cheese soup for starter and Suet pudding for main. The soup was completely tasteless. I then jokingly said “my mains better not be a Hollands steak pudding for £16.95. Guess what it was. It’s fair to say. The food was terrible. I complained and received “sorry”. That’s it. Sometimes you just pay and walk away for an easier life but never again. The accommodation is in desperate need of repair. It used to be an amazing place to stay but not now. Such a shame"

After checking out, we had to keep our Luggage as the train time was still hours after check out. Easy access to the attractions and the tram and bus stop close to the hotel. The room size is okay, but it would have been better if there was ventilation, especially in this hot weather."

"We bought a bottle of French Champagne for 200 GBR and it was spoiled. We returned the bottle . Manager (the Turkish guy) accepted the problem , promised to resolve the matter next day. However, next day denied the problem and was lying that the bottle was not spoiled. No cash refund, no bottle replacement was offered. Do not buy any beverages there you can get health issues."

"The hotel is grand, but dated. It’s in a lovely position on the promenade and Gynn Square tram stop directly opposite. There is a Premier shop just around the corner for essential items. The room wasn’t ready, despite me being quite a bit past check in time, but the staff quickly rectified in a friendly and efficient manner. The room was adequate and clean. Great to have an iron and ironing board. Nice touch! I didn’t eat there, but had plenty of bits to make a drink in room. TV in room and felt quite at home with the distant sounds of the seagulls reminding me I was at the seaside. Happy days."
