同胞們，千萬別上當啊！千萬不要訂這家酒店！ 這裏不是7字區，你看到的海，也不是你想象中的加勒比海的樣子。HYATT ZIVA，才可以看到那片果凍色的海。這個帶rivera後綴的，完全就是糟糕！ 比糟糕更糟糕，當我踏進酒店大門那一刻，我就知道，上當了。 進到房間，就直接崩潰了。 跟攜程客服求證了，這是真的HYATT，但確實是個黑店！ 兩個房間，四個人吃過全包餐，第二天早上，三個拉肚子！ 付了三天房費，還是放棄了最後一晚，提前跑了。好在攜程給補了一晚房費。

Arrived 10/25/24 to get to Hyatt Ziva Riviera the road is in HORRIBLE shape and quite dangerous in my opinion. If you leave the hotel, you loose at least 15- 20 mins each way because of how bad the road is. Overall a good stay, except the rooms are a little outdated on the tropical view side and NO BEACH! but pools are great. The food at most of the restaurants was very good I have to say but the buffet, well it's a buffet so it's hit or miss. However ROOTS, coffee bar & dessert area!! EXCELLENT!

We come here twice a year. Huge clean rooms. Not much of a beach, but beautiful grounds, many great pools including an adults-only quiet one, and several water slides. There are several restaurants with good food and Roots cafe with specialty coffees and pastries that are included. Very fun daily entertainment. Christian and Alexis are great water Zumba instructors, waiter Margarito remembers us from previous visits (even my weird food allergy) and Salvador makes excellent cocktails in the members lounge. The African Experience is an amazing acrobatic group, and the band The Others became rapid favorites. Whoever the horticulturist is deserves applause as well.

Don't listen to the other reviews too closely. I had VERY low expectations for this place after reading many of them. Immediately after checking in and exploring my mind was changed. While this resort is smaller than many other all inclusive, it's still a great size! The restaurants were nice, the service of EVERY staff member was fantastic, and the room was lovely. No, there isn't much of a beach, but we made the best of it with morning and evening walks along the water. We even spent some time laying on the loungers down there with wine. However, if you're looking for somewhere for your kids to play in the sand all day and swim in the ocean, this might not be the ideal place. The daily entertainment was ACTUAL entertainment. We had a great time with both day and night activities. The spa is AMAZING! I highly recommend getting a massage while you're there. The cabana crew was excellent. They more than anticipated when we would need another drink or would need food. I don't think our drinks were ever empty and one of the days we were certainly in party mode. The restaurants, while not as elaborate as other resorts, were nice as well. I particularly enjoyed Balisk. We got to dine outside on a lovely evening and the food was delicious. We enjoyed each meal. The room service is pretty basic and simple, but we didn't lean on that too much. All in all you're getting MORE than you pay for with this place. So if you're looking for a decent resort at low cost, this is a winner in my mind. I'll probably return.

The place has potential. Everything at the hotel closes by 11 PM. A lot of choices are restaurant, but the food were very cold/warm. If you have party of 14 celebrating They can accommodate unless you’re paying for a bottle or for me. Never experienced this before

Very decent all inclusive resort, food could be better, not too many activities for young children except on weekends. Entertainment team could be more involved. In room service is pretty good with different varieties of food but service is slow.

Road Access to hotel was very bad. Buffet was only available for breakfast and limited vegetarian options in Speciality restaurants. No food delivery available as it is far and road access was very bad. Although, pools and entertainment was good and staff was accommodating. If road access was better and more vegetarian options are available or atleast buffet throughout the day then I would have given it 5 star. Rooms were nice and other facilities were very good as well.

Beautiful resort, super friendly, and helpful staff. Lots of options for pools, if you want quiet moments or a more lively atmosphere. Food was decent for a resort that is cooking for the mases. There is no shortage of activities and shows, should you choose to participate. The rooms were lovely and spacious. Again, the service was amazing, I can't say enough about them. They work so hard to ensure your experience is great.

I stayed at Hyatt Ziva Rivera in September 2024 with two other couples for 6 nights, and it was just what we needed. It was a great getaway. The ambiance was lovely and welcoming, the room was spacious (always cold), and the restaurants were good. My favorite restaurant was the French (RUE DE RIVOLI), and I dined there for 2/6 nights. Our butler, Didier, went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. He even booked us the last spot for the hibachi night, for which we were extremely grateful. He also sent us all the daily activities and updates for our stay. He ensured that we had dinner booked each night and, most importantly, made sure we had the best time. Thank you Didier for everything, you made our stay worth it. We would definitely be returning!!!

I am truly appalled by the situation I encountered at your resort. To say I was disappointed would be a gross understatement. I came expecting to enjoy the beach—a critical component of a seaside vacation—and instead found no viable option whatsoever. I understand the issues with algae; that’s not my point. My frustration stems from the utter lack of any alternative arrangement on your part. At a previous resort in the Riviera Maya facing similar algae issues, management had the foresight and courtesy to offer complimentary transportation to another beach, ensuring guests like myself could still enjoy the ocean. Here, I was left to fend for myself, ultimately paying over $300 just to experience what should have been a basic amenity included in the stay. This, frankly, is unacceptable. Yes, your restaurant and bar staff were pleasant and attentive, and the pools were fine. But let’s be clear—I did not come to a tropical resort to spend my days by the pool when the beach is where I wanted to relax and recharge. I have pools at home; I expected the full beach experience that was advertised. This lack of communication about the beach situation before check-in feels deceptive, to say the least. Had I known, I would have rebooked elsewhere without hesitation. Rest assured, I will not be returning. Despite your staff’s kindness, the beach is non-negotiable for us, and the absence of one left me with an experience that was anything but relaxing.

In July my family and I traveled to Riviera Cancun for 10 days to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Before our arrival we spoke with Valeria, who we expressed that because we were travelling with three children we requested to have connecting rooms. She expressed that it is not a guarantee, but she would do her absolute best to ensure that we did get one. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Carlos who treated us with snacks and refreshing drinks. He took us for a tour of the property and to our room. The rooms were spacious. They had connecting doors and because we were celebrating our anniversary, they had chocolate treats in both rooms with chocolate covered strawberries. We were then introduced to our amazing butler Alex, who made sure that all Of restaurants were booked for our stay and all our needs were met. He sent us a message every morning with the open restaurants, bars, activities that were happening for the day. He went above and beyond his position to ensure that our stay at the Hyatt was exceptional. We are so grateful that we had him on hand. Alex was so attentive that when him and my husband discussed my husband‘s love for tequila he went out of his way to make sure he arranged a special outing for him and I with a tequila tasting on site. That particular tasting was hosted by a gentleman named Gerardo. He was so informative. He was so attentive. He made sure that we understood the different types of tequilas. Let us know about the history and how certain tequilas were meant for shots and dessert and mixing. I’m not a big fan of tequila like my husband is but I did find a new respect for it and Learned a lot about it. Our first day out at the pool, we met an amazing waiter named Leo. He became our favourite go to person. We literally followed him to every section of the resort that he was at for our entire 10 days. He was attentive, kind and always had a smile on his face, no matter how hot it was, and how long his shift was. He had great recommendations on places to visit things to do on the resort and drinks to try. The second day we met Roberto, who is the manager on duty and he is one of the reasons our stay at Hyatt Ziva was impeccable. He checked in on us on a daily basis. He made sure all of our needs were met, and we were comfortable in the resort. He even came out on his day off the day we were leaving to say goodbye. Actually many of the people that we met on the resort did. Roberto also introduced us to the hotel manager, Yessi, who was amazing and we definitely let her know that the staff she has were amazing and how they played such an integral role in making our vacation a memorable time. And also I’d like to mention Denise, who is the restaurant manager, and she was absolutely amazing. When she found out that my husband and I were celebrating our 25 year anniversary, she went out of her way to make reservations for us at the French restaurant in a private room.
