The hotel was in grait location close to the old center. Staff was very nice. The room was clean and spacious with grait view. The food atvthe hotel restaurant was delisious. We recomend !

We stayed a night at the Belmont Sinai Hotel during our recent Portugal road trip. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and had convenient parking. We decided to eat at the hotel instead of exploring options in town. A good decision - the food and service were excellent (thanks Carolina). A very nice place to stay.

Great location, great view from the window, good indoor restaurant. However, we weren’t told in advance that there would be a dance party in the lobby all night and the music was very loud so we couldn’t sleep. In addition the mattresses were very uncomfortable and there were little to no amenities in the bathroom.

The design of the hotel is modern and functional, and rooms have a balcony which has a panoramic view of Serra Estrela on the other side of the valley below Belmonte. Bedrooms are a reasonable size, and adequately equipped. The immediate locality has a lot of interesting history, and the town has considerable charm.

Hotel Sinai Belmonte Nice hotel located in the historic center of this little town. Plenty of free street parking. The hotel is quite modern with a spacious lobby and lounge. The restaurant on site doubles as the breakfast room. Breakfast was a nice buffet of breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fruits and cereals. Our room overlooked the valley below the town. It was decently sized with plenty of power plugs but no designated USB ports. There are flexible reading lights on both sides of the bed. The closet was spacious. The bathroom was spacious and included a large shower(no tub) with the most vigorous water pressure we have ever experienced in Portugal. They supply a combination shampoo/shower gel pump in the shower. But like everywhere else we have stayed so far no hair conditioner nor are washcloths supplied. No refrigerator. A little balcony off the bedroom was a nice touch. Besides a small ruined castle and a few churches there is not much to see here and the town is too small to have much in the way of shopping although the tiny crooked streets are charming. Suggest that this not be a destination but a brief diversion or simply a place to settle in for the night before continuing your travels.

Very reasonable authentic food, great service and an excellent location for all the local sights! If you are interested in an easy way around this amazing small town and get some good food/service, stay here. We had the pleasure of a lovely host, giving service with a big smile and recommended some great food!

Lovely roads approaching this area. Hotel enjoys nice views and has balconies but shame there was no balcony furniture to enjoy the views. Rooms modern and spacious. Nice to have a kettle in the room which is rare in Portugal. Staff nice and food ok. But hotel lacks warmth in its decoration making it ok for a stop for one night but I wouldn't want to stay there for longer.

This is a very plain hotel with nothing to offer. No bottle of water in the room, no tissues, no refrigerator, terrible food and hardly any reason to stay there. We never had our toilet paper replaced even though there was just a small part of a roll remaining, people were not friendly, room had great view but bathroom was not clean. Would never stay there again. Furthermore, I can’t think of a good reason to visit Belmonte. Jewish museum is a joke…

The city of Belmonte is several miles from the train station and there are no taxi stands there. After we tried and tried to phone a taxi, we decided to call the hotel and ask them for help. They had a taxi pick us up within minutes. Hotel has a full restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food quality above average, and cost was reasonable. Rooms clean and well maintained. Baggage storage upon request, and there is an elevator. Good location for walking the town, and seeing the nearby valley. Belmonte has a Jewish neighborhood, castle, and five museums, of which you can purchase a ticket for all, and see all in one day.

L'hôtel est situé tout en haut du village, cest une vieille batisse rénovée avec de belles pierres. La chambre était spacieuse, propre, avec une bouilloire, une grande tv et un sèche cheveux. Le hall d'entrée avec une belle déco, idem pour le coin salon et le restaurant. Le personnel à l'écoute, le serveur parlait un peu français et nous a détaillé le menu unique à 23€. Nous avons bien mangé, le plat, du veau, était excellent. Il y avait peu d'entrées (8) et de desserts (5), mais pour un soir ça suffisait. Le petit dej est très copieux salé/sucré avec des spécialités portugaises, mais aussi croissants, chocolatines, chaussons aux pommes et œufs brouillés, bacon, fromage, champignons... Le seul bémol, une literie trop "dure" et quasiment aucun restaurant ouvert dans le village.
