The room is well-equipped and the location is excellent. It is a few hundred meters away from the Huguo Temple snack street and the subway station. It is convenient to travel. Line 4, Line 6, and Line 19 are convenient to go anywhere. There are many restaurants downstairs, such as No. 69 Square Brick Factory, Nanmen Shabu-shabu, Qingfeng Baozi Shop, and Eryouju. We stayed here for six nights with our kids this time and liked it very much.

Lovely front desk and very clean hotel! This hotel is in an amazing location—right next to Nanluoguxiang, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and shops just steps away. It’s the perfect base for exploring Beijing! (Near Shichahai and Lama Temple) The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and amenities. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable stay in a vibrant area with excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Had a very happy stay with my elderly parents and will definitely stay here again if in Beijing next time. Hotel is situated inside a small alley, near to the main road and 5mins walk away from a very convenient metro interchange station - Gulou Dajie (鼓楼大街). Can board either Line #2 or #8 from here, both of which leads directly to Beijing’s main attractions and major railway stations. Hotel used to be the home of a high-rank official in Ming Dynasty, now converted into rooms which open directly into a courtyard (a traditional building style in Old Beijing). As it’s wood architecture, noise proofing isn’t the best. Not a big concern for us as it is a quiet neighborhood, only can hear the occasional loud conversations from other guests walking by. Different stay experience from typical hotel rooms as the courtyard is a peaceful place for some tea, chit chat or general relaxing and star gazing after a tiring day’s walk. Compliments to the very helpful and friendly service staff for a wonderful staying experience too. Every time we go to reception to ask questions, the staff are always quick to offer drinks while waiting. My parents’ room was a little stuffy (floor heating was turned up) and they immediately brought us a humidifier/air fan to improve air circulation. There was also a small snack bag for each of us when checking out. Overall a very happy stay.

An oasis of calm and zen, perfect refuge from the business and heat of Beijing. Special attention was paid with little touches such as balloons and flowers for our wedding anniversary, turn down service had finessed touches. Beautiful rooms and incredible soundproofing.

Overall a nice hotel, great option if you’re travelling to Beijing. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed everyday. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were spacious. Being connected to Joy City was a nice perk, and the transit (line 1 and line 4) was a 5 minute walk.

We stayed in the executive room. It was great experience from the start. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the doorman who helped us with our luggage. The staff were also extremely helpful with our enquiries despite the language barrier. When we asked one of them for directions to a mall, there was some difficulties communicating and 3-4 others came to assist us in our enquiry. The hotel room was really well furnished and clean. Highly recommended. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed.

Convenient hotel in the heart of the city within walking distance to major attractions such as Forbidden City, and a short stroll to Tiananmen Square. Metro station is about 3 mins walk away. Staff were friendly and ready to lend a hand in any way. Bed was comfortable and generally the room was clean. No issues about noise despite being only on the second level. Toilet seat is automatic. You can also send your online parcels to the hotel and they will keep them safely for you, likewise food deliveries will be either stored on the front counter for you to self collect or they will use their robot to send it up to you (this takes some time so self collecting is a much more efficient mode) Some slight negatives - although the room was generally clean, I found stray hairs occasionally (eg in the sink) and also saw a small fake eyelash on the bath towel once. The AC wasn’t working (only fan mode was operational) which meant that the room could get warm on hotter days - the staff explained that this was because the weather outside was still cold. During my time, only the first day was warm, and the other days were pretty ok. You can open the window (though very small and with no view) to let some air in, and also use the in-room air purifier to circulate the air. Other than that, the stay was extremely pleasant and staff were also accommodating to let me check out later!

We are 2 friends and both are new to Beijing and let alone China. We are first time here. For me the room is great enough, light was all working fine. The toothbrush and soap provided but need to get from reception. I was using iPhone so I cannot use the WiFi as it only works with Android due to firewall. Location wise I think it is easy to find even with Google Map. For those using Metro, Dongsi Station Exit G is the nearest one, while Exit D is the second nearest. Two main metro line to Dongsi Station is Metro Line 5 & 6. But we normally use line 6 because it is nearest to Exit G. The area is close to Forbidden Palace, you can get there with one change of metro service. When I went to Forbidden Palace, I did go there using Metro then walk back as it is only around 1.6km walking after the Exit at Forbidden Palace and took about 20 minutes walking. I did use Baidu map to walk to the hotel from Forbidden Palace and you will take short cuts which will end up at the back of Renaissance Hotel. Tips : mark the hotel in Baidu map so you can easily get the map working especially if cannot speak Chinese like me. On Dongsi West St there is National Art Museum and it is free. I did went there alone after checkout, there are 6 floors of exhibits there. Walk to Wangfujing shopping st would take you around 15 minutes. The famous Prime Hotel Beijing is like 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Not much to do at night as shops literally close early at around 8PM to 9PM except for McDonald’s which close at 11PM like 5 minutes walk from hotel. There is a mosque near hotel if you are Muslim like me but the mosque is a bit run down and closes its door and you need to ask the caretaker to open the door if you want to pray. Overall I’m satisfied with the hotel which I think is very basic and fits our budget. I wish there is a cupboard inside the room for us to hang out clothes and fridge. The toilet however is spacious and hot water can only be used for 20 minutes then we need to wait again for 30 minutes for it to replenish which is a problem if there are a lot of people to take shower at same time. Improvement for hotel : 1 Put small cupboard in room for guest to hang clothes. 2 Change the curtain as it is very old and looks like not wash for long time. 3 Better if room has small fridge for guest to store food. Getting there : Metro from took like 50 minutes with 3 changes in metro line. For me it is very easy, and cheap cost like 40RMB in Alipay. Overall the surrounding maybe take 2 days for you to be familiar with but I think it is good enough as there are McDonalds, Luckin coffee and also bakery near the hotel like 5 minutes walk. Small convenience store is there in the back alley but close like at 8PM. Reason I chose this hotel : 1 Your taxi can get there straight in front of hotel as it is not in Forbidden Palace area where some place taxi cannot get in and you need to carry your bag through busy street 2 Easy access as you walk 10 minutes from Dongsi Station Exit G/D to get to hotel 3 Near Dongsi mosque if you want to pray if you’re muslim 4 Very quiet area as a bit far from Forbidden Palace area or Wangfujing 5 Lots of shops to eat and cafe on Dongsi N st or Meishuguan E st near the Prime Beijing Hotel 6 A few halal muslim restaurant for you to eat if you are picky eater and not familiar with convenience store food 7 When go out of hotel turn left at end of the Dadoufu Ln there is small convenience you can buy food but close early around 8PM.

Coffizz is a cozy hotel that boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. My room was clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation. However, one downside was that the staff had limited English proficiency, which made communication a bit challenging at times. Despite this, my overall experience at Coffizz was pleasant, and I appreciated the inviting ambiance and well-maintained facilities. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in a great spot, Coffizz is worth considering.

We had a great stay at JIANGUO Hidden Hotel Beijing! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Jinyu Hutong metro station (Line 8), and the hotel is surrounded by several shopping malls, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring. The hotel was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Our room had a great ventilation system and large windows that brought in lots of natural light. We were also pleasantly surprised to find mosquito nets on the windows, which is quite rare for hotels and a really thoughtful touch. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible—we originally booked a smaller room, but they kindly upgraded us to a more spacious one with a bathtub. If I had known how much better the bigger room is, I would’ve definitely paid the small extra cost from the start. Totally worth it! We also appreciated the good Chinese breakfast, convenient delivery robots, and free luggage storage. All of these small touches added up to a really comfortable and smooth experience.
