The location, services and amenities are excellent, just that the space is a little small for two travellers. The gym is small but sufficient and they provide supper (8-11pm) as well! Overall it is a good experience, highly recommended for solo travellers.

This hotel is very convenient and near Wangfujin Street and Jinyu Hutong station. The staff is very kind and helpful even they can’t speak English. Thanks a million for upgrading my Queen room to King room free of charge. Lastly. I was really impressed by a little robot bringing us the commodity.

Overall, it was great experience staying in this hotel apart from a sudden bang and loud slamming door in the middle of the night. Great location and staff are helpful. If you're fluent in mandarin, be ready with your translator apps. Cozy and I love the tatami room.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. What truly stood out was the breakfast buffet—delicious and diverse options that catered to all tastes! Additionally, the location couldn't be better; it's conveniently situated near popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, my stay at Madison is was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great experience!

Location: Very good location, very near metro station ( 100 meter in looping line 10). So convenient to take the metro to all places of interest. Take only 40min to travel to airport. If you are tourist, recommend to stay here. Cleanliness: Very clean room, bath tub is nice and clean for a soak after a long day to tourist spot. They provide clean water and housekeeping daily. Facilities: Bed is so comfortable and tv channels are good. Everything is touch screen mode in room. Shower is strong too. Breakfast is not extensive but it is delicious and spread is nice for tourist, both local and oversea tourist. Services: Everyone is so polite and attentive, ranging from the receptionists to housekeeping and chef. Special mention of the breakfast auntie and night auntie whom is ever so accommodating and thoughful to make sure we ate enough and amentities in room are in good woriing order. 非常熱情的夜班袁阿姨 :) Bottomline: It is indeed a very nice boutique hotel. We truly enjoy our stay here. Definitely will stay here when I visit Beijing again. For tourists, places of interest does not revolve around tiananmen area only. Travelling to scenic area at out skirt area using metro is the most convenient way. and the metro station Tuanjiehu cirles around and link to all lines that will take you to places of interest. If you travel to hotel by metro, exit C to hotel. You will not regret choosing this hotel for your vacation. small suggestion: We wished that breakfast will end at 10pm instead of 9.30pm. The hotel's transportation and environment are great. When traveling, the most anticipated thing is to stay in a hotel that can relax people physically and mentally. This time I stayed at Guo Erzhao, and its unique ”invisible service” concept made me feel a unique comfort and ease from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Lobby reception: just the right greeting As soon as I walked into the lobby, the warm lights and soft music created a warm atmosphere. The reception staff stood in the right position, smiling, and looking at every guest gently. When they saw me, they didn't rush to greet me, but nodded slightly. This just right greeting made me feel respected without any sense of oppression. I dragged my suitcase slowly to the front desk, and the reception staff came forward softly to help me take the luggage. The movements were gentle and skillful, as if they were afraid of disturbing my thoughts immersed in the journey. They didn't say too much greetings, but simply asked if they needed help. This silent care made me relax instantly, and the fatigue of the journey was also relieved at this moment. Check-in: Efficient and Quiet Process The check-in process surprised me even more. The front desk staff was quick and professional. They did not have too much sales pitch or complicated procedures. They simply checked the information and handed me the room card and a concise and clear check-in instructions. The whole process was quiet and efficient, with no noisy background music, no rounds of bombardment from sales staff, only the staff's soft greetings and clear instructions. I didn't even notice that there were other guests waiting around, as if the entire front desk area was just for me. This quiet atmosphere allowed me to quickly organize my thoughts and devote myself to the rest time that was about to begin. Room Service: Silent and Intimate Care After checking into the room, I deeply experienced the essence of ”traceless service”. Everything in the room was in order, from the neat bed to the neatly placed toiletries, every detail revealed the hotel's care. However, what impressed me most was the silent care of the room service staff. Wei Wanyi, Zhao Zhifeng, Zhou Qiaofeng and other friends did not knock on the door frequently to ask if the room needed to be cleaned. Everything was so quiet. It was not until I took the initiative to contact the hotel to ask for water that the service staff knocked on the door gently. The sound was so light that it was almost inaudible, but enough for me to notice. When I opened the door, they were already standing at the door with a smile, holding water in their hands, and then whispered ”I wish you a pleasant stay” and left quietly. This silent service allows me to enjoy the hotel facilities without being bothered by any unnecessary interruptions. This stay experience at Guo Erzhao made me really feel the charm of ”traceless service”. It is not simply indifferent, but a manifestation of respect and understanding for guests. Here, I can relax and enjoy a quiet time of my own. If you also want to have such an undisturbed experience during your trip, then Guo Erzhao is definitely your best choice.

It is close to Gulou Street subway station, and the transportation is quite convenient. There is a Huguo Temple snack shop downstairs, and there is a Qingfeng steamed bun shop 500 meters to the north. There are not many restaurants around, but they can meet basic dining needs. The price is cheap in this area, and the hygiene is not bad. The bed sheets are folded and cleaned every day. The room has heating and air conditioning, and it is not cold

An excellent hotel offering great convenience and thoughtful services. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel environment is fantastic, located just a 10-minute walk from Metro Line 1, and the rooms are impeccably clean. It was a truly pleasant stay, with attention to detail that made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! The only areas for improvement would be the water pressure, which was quite low, and the ventilation in rooms with inner windows.

We had always wanted to stay near the Hutong and after doing some research online, Shàn hotel was our top choice. A chic and minimalist design hotel in the xicheng district. There’s also a 网红 cafe in the hotel. The location is superb as it’s just a short walk to 大柵欄. There are delish eatery near the hotel like 陳記鹵煮小腸, 河沿肉饼 and their popular breakfast 豆汁. I received a card by the hotel manager upon checking in. I always love hand written card as it will never go out of style! On our last day, we met the owner of Shàn hotel and chatted for a bit before heading to the airport. I would definitely revisit Beijing again!

The hotel is very good, very near metro exit and you can easily use public transportation to travel around the city. The hotel servers are friendly and helpful. We love its laundry room 😆 u do not need take so much clothes because of it. Ps: just one point: no elevator or lift to go down the subway, just going-up elevator, so thinking carefully if you have heavy luggages.
