location is perfect. there is no variety in the breakfast. reception staff is lil bit lazy and unprofessional. they should improve their hospitality skills. all the amenities were not there which were mentioned.

The service provided was helpful and sufficient. Place was nice, clean and also quiet for stay.

I saw this on the website as I was traveling around China and needed a hotel near The Great Wall. When I got there- I was taken aback by the bed which wasn’t comfortable at all. It was a hard mat with a mattress pillow on it which didn’t help at all. I didn’t get a good night sleep as I needed to sleep on a pillow when I turned onto my side. The floor was so uneven that when it rained, water came in and soaked the floor. The floor boards came up and I nearly cut myself on the exposed nail. I kept my plastic shower shoes on all night. I was supposed to have a Mountain View but I got a courtyard view. The location is fantastic and so convenient!

This branch is in a great location. Walking distance to Badaling Great Wall. The ancient town the branch is located in is very sweet and lively at night. You have a view of the Great Wall from the village. Amenities were okay but you don’t get hair conditioner but enough shampoo and shower wash. I was disappointed that there wasn’t any hair conditioner considering your hair dries out being in the sun for hours on the wall. The little shops also don’t sell it, only shampoo. So it would be great if they added that bit of hair care products considering travellers don’t travel with liquids when the branch says they have amenities. Clean was okay. I will say there was a section on my bed by the wall where there was a lot of dust by the mattress base. It wasn’t bad but I feel it should be mentioned. Other than that i will use and recommend this hotel again.

The location is perfect if you wanna visit the Badaling Great Wall. Water pressure is awesome, the bed is comfortable. Paid additional 18 yuan for the classic Chinese breakfast. General impression is good.

We had a good stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, room is new and clean. 10 minute-walk to Badaling Great Wall entrance.

Great stay! Easy to find, perfect location if you are planning to climb the great wall early in the morning. Employees only speak chinese, but they are still helpful.

The receptionist is not with hospitality at all, didn't tell us how to get back to homestay from the high speed railway station, and couldn't tell us anything about booking tickets to Great Wall. And there were just a few taxis around. With luggages you can't walk 1.5 km to get to homestay. The room was clean anyway, just a bit bad smell from the drain in the toilet, no hair dryer in the room. You can see tower 8 for the rooftop of homestay , quite nice. Food is available next door, a bit expensive, but acceptable at that mountain area. We woke up early and got the great wall tickets by the ticket offfice right at the entrance. Never go to Beijing and Great Wall in July, August and before Sep 10th. I guess Sep 10th to Nov 15th is perfect timing.

The room was a little cold, but nice and clean, and very close to the Great Wall of Badaling.

Smelly, Location and outside exterior is good

Nice room at good location. Breakfast was nice. Hotpot for dinner was amazing. Bathroom like others are saying is a bit smelly.

We had a comfortable stay here, only 15min walk to the Badaling Great Wall entrance. They have hotpot available and its so good , all big servings. Really nice place.

Nice clean place with good location. Staff were nice and spoke a bit of English which made things bit easier. There is no sound proofing so during high season might be bit of problem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service of this place is welcoming and kind. The staff treat the customer with great care. The hotel is located in a charming village near The Great Wall (1km). You will find here a few restaurants and shops with basic goods. Room and other spaces are very clean. Before arrival we were worried that it might be cold here during the night but it turned out that even with extreme winter temperatures (-30 degrees Celsius) the night passed us very well. The room has air conditioning and electric heater. Electric blankets could possibly be considered. Getting to this place is just as comfortable. We arrived by fast train from Qinghe Railway station (20 minutes: 20 RMB per person in one direction) and walked to the hotel about 1 km on foot. Next to the hotel there is another train station from which you can take the suburban train to HuangTuDing in Beijing. You do not need to buy a ticket, you can use the Beijing transportation card or Alipay transport option. In summary, thank you very much for a great stay during the coldest night of our lives😂😅
