Very friendly service and public transportation is quite convenient.

Service was fine, but the room was extremely noisy, the railway beside running the whole night! Parking lot is in another building 200 meters away, you drive in, the door closed, and all the lights turn off after 3 minutes, the whole space was completely dark, which was so weird and horrible, I had to turn on the small flashlight in my phone and run out of the garage!

可以説是瑞士旅行最滿意的酒店，超出預期的好，乾淨舒適，比起其他瑞士城市酒店面積也更大些，服務態度也好，早餐也不錯，下次去機會再到巴塞爾，一定再來。

Удобное расположение - до вокзала минут 5 на 30 автобусе, ходит часто, остановка в шаге. Рядом шикарные ворота Spalentor, за ними практически начинается шопинговое пространство и центр. До остановки 50 автобуса в аэропорт пройти минут 5. Персонал в отеле очень приветливый, на ресепшн пряники, водичка, конфетки, открытки, буклеты, карты. Заселили раньше положенного, поздний выезд без доплат до 12, далее 50 Франков. Дали basel card: бесплатный транспорт, в т.ч. до аэропорта, и 50% скидка на музеи. Там также код для входа в отель после 22 (или 23, уже точно не вспомню), когда на ресепшене нет никого. Завтрак отличный, сыров видов 7, нарезка, овощи, горячее, соки, воды, джемы, фрукты, можно заказать яичницу, омлет, кофе и пр., на 5 этаже с красивыми видами, небольшое помещение. Номер уютный, тапки, халаты, минибар, много разных люстр и светильников. Тихо. Тв туча программ, наших нету. Одеяла отличные, подушки так себе. Итог: рекомендую.

This was an excellent place to stay in Basel. The facilities were wonderful and the service even better. Very close to Old Town and a tram stop. Great restaurants nearby, and the one recommended by staff was great! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Basel at a good rate,

This is a very nice hotel, the room is big, very clean. Our room has a window facing one of the old city Gate. In front of this hotel is a Bonacic Garden. The garden is very big. we are very happy to stay in this hotel. Next time if we visit Basel, we will stay here again.

I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world and rarely encountered as friendly, responsive and knowledgeable staff as those at Hotel Spalentor. They do the establishment proud! The hotel is very conveniently located for exploring Basel’s Old Town. The room was clean and comfortable but the soundproofing could have been better: I could hear the tram outside very clearly as well as, at 4.45am, another guest’s phone alarm. Also, the mechanism for diverting the bath water to the shower head was not obvious. You had to pull the end of the faucet towards you which took some figuring out. Despite these misgivings, it was an enjoyable stay and I would happily return to Hotel Spalentor.

Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.

Delighted as usual with the hotel. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable reception staff. The hotel is immaculate and very well situated for walking to the old town, shops restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A great location near Old Town and a friendly staff, but we don’t think this hotel merits a 4-star rating; here’s why: - No 24-hour front desk service - Rooms very plain - Lobby and bar area a bit outdated That said, the Hotel Spalentor is a good choice for 3-star hotel in the area.
