I always stay at The Mate Pau in Barcelona because it is clean and the people are very friendly. It is almost at the airport bus stop so it’s also very convenient.
The inside courtyard rooms are quieter than the rooms facing the road but after a day in Barcelona you might be too tired to notice.
Breakfast is amazing and the staff are fantastic.

Checking in was quick and easy
Originally we got a room without a bath, but wanted a bath so went to reception and paid for upgrade.
Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary chocolates.
Shower and was great
Bed and pillows were comfortable
Fantastic location !
Can't comment on the breakfast as didn't order any.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful,

住起來感覺不錯、就是小了點～
不過樓下就是超市、地鐵站很方便。
有空可以去廣場餵餵鴿子

總共住了3晚，RMB5K多，自我感覺性價比不是很高。單人間，窗户是靠天井的，幾乎沒有窗户的感覺。住這裏的唯一優點是，地理位置佳，酒店離加泰羅尼亞廣場很近，步行2分鐘就能到。也可以步行去米拉之家，我是步行過去的，大概20來分鐘，一路可以經過很多奢侈品店，LV，Dior等，可以去LV店逛逛，比國內便宜很多，但是需要排隊。

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, great location, very clean, secure, well designed, great breakfast, great value, pleasant staff, no issues with speaking English. It was just easy and pleasant.
