Premier Inn Bangor (Northern Ireland)

This hotel is perfect for the trains station to Go to Belfast also very quiet. Staff are lovely and very helpful only thing was kids are only allowed in the bar area until 9pm without food but 9.30 with food but isn’t the hotels fault that’s the licensing they have but overall good stay and thanks to Bronach and Jen for the anniversary gift and the chocolate

My parents are regulars at the hotel, we live locally. We love coming to visit at the hotel, the staff have been incredible. We’ve gotten to know most quite well now. The new addition to the team Roshan is super friendly and helpful. Great to have friendly happy people in customer service roles!

This is a brilliant hotel to stay in if you’re arriving by bus or train because the combined station is just down the hill, literally a couple of minutes away. They have a carpark right outside too and I think that was free. Friendly, helpful staff. When we realised we only had one towel for two of us, they arranged to have one sent up. We had a lovely, restful view across to a park. The room was nice and quiet too.

Great comfortable hotel, excellent staff especially Roshan George. Rooms were large and quiet. Good location with very convenient parking. Would stay there again. Can’t think of anymore to add but minimum of 200 characters required by Trip Advisor!

Very comfortable beds. Breakfast excellent. Good location e.g. near train and bus station. Easy walk into town and the sea front. Bangor Castle is nearby attraction with a beautiful walled garden. The staff are very friendly. Susie and Jen have been particularly helpful.

Hotel was good, as always with Premier Inn, Comfortable, quiet, but the room windows are sealed and will not open.

This was by far the best experience we've ever had from staying in a Premier Inn (and we have stayed in many). Beautifully located right opposite Bangor Train Station, it's so easily accessible from Belfast. We flew into George Best Airport and it really couldn't have been easier to get to Bangor. From the airport, there is a FREE shuttle bus to Sydenham Train Station. This train takes a lovely coastal ride to Bangor. You can even buy tickets from the inspector on the train. The Premier Inn itself was clean, tidy and well organised. The Staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and all you needed to do was ask if you wanted/needed anything. The food was great quality and very reasonably priced - it was certainly worth taking advantage of the evening meal deal to also get the next mornings breakfast included. The thing that stood out the most were the staff. They were helpful, attentive, chatty and super friendly. While we were there it was my Aunt's Birthday so we had a meal in the restaurant. When they found out it was her Birthday they made a real fuss - she even got a Birthday card and a little box of chocolates. Such a lovely touch which really makes it feel more personal. I was also quite overwhelmed when one of the managers recognised and rewarded my neurodivergent son's good manners and helpfulness. As a parent who often feels on edge in public places having to navigate the needs of my son - this was possibly the highlight of my stay. It immediately made me feel safe and comfortable and not like I was being judged. It was even commented that "You are doing a wonderful job as parents" ... this may seem like a small thing but for those who know - this is so important to hear sometimes. We will absolutely be staying here when we visit again. It is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay for whatever your visiting reasons.

This is the best Premier Inn, by far. The staff here, are all amazing. Ethan and his team are all so genuine, friendly and attentive. He most definitely leads by example. Credit to them all and the restaurant chefs, the food is fresh and of a great standard. Rooms are comfortable. Also, a lovely area to explore the marina and castle/gardens. A great location to everything you need. A great stay!!!!
