Anantara Desaru Coast Resort

Kami memiliki perjalanan yang indah dan santai di Anantara Desaru. Fasilitas: Pantai Pribadi,, kolam renang tanpa batas, sepeda, Klub remaja dan anak-anak yang sering kami habiskan di sana Makanan: Saat ini ada Ramadan Buffet untuk makan malam selama periode ini, jadi kami tidak melakukannya. Namun, kami mencoba restoran Thailand otentik mereka untuk makan siang dan makanannya enak dan lezat. Tolong bangun lebih awal dan saksikan matahari terbit, sungguh menakjubkan!

Menginap di hotel ini untuk kedua kalinya, taman hotel telah diperbaiki, tetapi kali ini layanan hotel adalah yang terburuk yang pernah saya tinggali di hampir seribu hotel bintang lima. Lantai tinggi, tetapi tempat tidur kembar saat check in, di lantai dasar. Sikap pelayan sangat buruk, memberi tahu Anda bahwa ini adalah hotel yang telah dipesan dan tidak dapat diubah. Saya meminta upgrade berbayar, meskipun setengah dari kamar kosong. Beberapa keluarga yang datang bersama saya diharuskan menambahkan MYR 200 per malam untuk setiap anak karena mereka berusia di bawah 5 tahun! Ada seorang ibu dengan tiga anak berusia 5, 4 dan 2 dan diminta untuk menambah 600 MYR per malam! Ini adalah satu-satunya hal yang pernah saya dengar di hotel-hotel di seluruh dunia. Salah satunya disuruh tidak check out jam 12:20 karena ada rapat. Fasilitas dan ukuran kamar jauh lebih rendah dari hotel sebelah westin, tapi harganya dua kali lipat dari westin, dan kualitas dan variasi sarapan jauh lebih sedikit daripada westin. Harganya juga dua kali lipat dari westin. Kebersihan etika hotel juga sangat buruk, genangan minyak di sofa selamat datang di lobi masih ada keesokan harinya, dan topeng tamu terakhir ditemukan di kamar. Dibandingkan dengan kunjungan terakhir, manajemen moral dan layanan hotel ini telah turun ke tingkat yang tidak dapat diterima.

It would have been 5/5 for service but they fell short when replying back to my inquiry via the anantara app and the miscommunication between the 2 restaurants regarding our last minute reservation. Otherwise, I was very much surprised that check-in was a breeze, staff were very courteous and attentive to all our needs and wants during our stay. Definitely a recommend for those who just wanna relax and be out of the city. Great place to bring kids too as they have a kids area to drop them off while you enjoy the sun and breeze.

ROOM Check in was normal, welcome cold drinks & towel nothing exciting. Booked a king size bed but was given a twin room; apparently a mysterious “request for twin bed” was remarks in my booking profile. Have to wait the next day for room change. Appreciate the help of the Resort FO Mgr and Kristine. BREAKFAST Tumeric- food and beverage were great. Good selection of food. Great service team, thank you Azila for so diligently making sure our table is clean. I felt the salad bar could be better for breakfast. Day one breakfast the flies are all over our food… resolution is to give us 2 “helicopter”. Anyway Day two we sat at the same table but was so much better.. guess the pest control was works. IRD Ordered a bottle of Chianti 2019 but a bottle of 2020 was delivered. Nazrin was great … offered to open and serve the wine for us. On our last night we have to order one more round of dinner; could not remember his name, we would like to express our appreciation as he has to do 3 trips for us - deliver food, deliver water and deliver salt and pepper shaker. BEACH ACTIVITIES It’s a third party service but due to strong wave, no beach activities are allowed. Hotel team should have let us know during check in but no information was shared. We saw a lot of people by the beach at the neighboring resort, we just walk there and join the fun. LUNCH AT TUMERIC Thank you Shavin for the lovely dessert. Shavin texted me about the wine vintage too. We ordered a salad, soup, fish, rice and Angus. The beef came first … wow! The rest followed 5 mins later. Service was attentive as usual. The beef ordered medium rare, one piece came cold and the rare… appreciate the chef making a new one for us. DINNER AT SEA FIRE SALT Oh well… it’s Xmas Eve and we only have a limited menu choice. It’s okay. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main… taste is so so but the portion is really sad. Lobster Ravioli 3 pcs? Turkey roulade 2 pcs with tiny sides? When we feedback the portion size to the server, his reply was individual portion size is like that … haha. We end up offering another round of dinner from IRD - Nasi Goreng kampung, pizza and a salad… taste absolutely amazing. We might as well enjoy our Xmas dinner in our room. CHECK OUT again, so so. We paid our bill and get into our car. Probably short of manning due to PH… nothing overly warm. This is a highly anticipated stay: We could have stayed in a cheaper resort but we really wanted to experience the great Anantara escape. Will we come back again… hard question but thank you for your hospitality.

I am personally felt welcomed by the bell boys and the reception. All making our family feel at home and happy. The hospitality is good and all our request and catered well. Kudos to the team and we may be back soonest as possible.

Great resort with top notch services from start to end! We booked a Deluxe Seaview room which was spacious and with breathtaking view. Facilities are also great around the resort, especially with a young child. The swimming pool is not so deep for water plays, there is a children play room, beach within walking distance and bicycle rides around the resort grounds. Would highly recommend! Only downsides were: 1) milk in the fridge was previously opened when we got there, suspect it wasn’t cleaned up properly; 2) bedsheet had stains and when we asked to change, the 2nd one also had stains.
