My stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready with a smile—going above and beyond to ensure my comfort.
The attention to detail throughout the resort is simply stunning—from the elegant architecture and beautifully landscaped gardens to the serene pools and luxurious rooms that reflect Balinese culture with modern sophistication.
Every moment of my trip felt thoughtfully curated, and thanks to the incredible service and breathtaking setting, my stay was truly perfect. I can’t wait to return to this tropical paradise.

I booked this hotel for my boss, and he had a wonderful stay without any complaints. The service was attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and all arrangements were well-prepared. My boss was very satisfied with the experience, which made me feel confident about choosing this hotel. Thank you for maintaining such high standards, and I will definitely consider booking here again for future stays.

If you're considering a stay at this hotel, it's essential to know that it isn't the latest five-star marvel – but perhaps that's part of its charm. The location, however, is a true gem. Set along a lively street brimming with delightful bistros, cozy bars, and handy supermarkets, it feels like living in the heart of a vibrant community. A leisurely 15-minute walk will lead you to Bali Collection, a delightful marketplace of dining and shopping options, like a colorful carnival waiting to be explored.
Our room, located on the ground floor, was just a few steps away from crystal-clear pools that beckoned us to jump right in. There's nothing quite like the morning sun’s embrace as you enjoy breakfast poolside, surrounded by the soothing sounds of splashing water and laughter.
Spending Christmas in this hotel was an experience filled with warmth and joy, albeit it was a full house! Breakfast became a bustling event, with throngs of visitors filling every available spot. “Tap, clatter, shuffle!” – the sounds of eager guests navigating through the dining area as the staff worked tirelessly to accommodate everyone. While more tables were added to manage the crowd, it did create a bit of a maze that sometimes felt restricted, but the festive atmosphere overshadowed the minor inconveniences.
The most heartwarming moment came from the delightful hotel staff, who surprised us with Christmas stockings overflowing with baked treats and sweets, an unexpected and delightful gesture that made our stay feel truly special. These small touches made the holiday unforgettable, filling our hearts with cheer and warmth.
In this hotel, every corner tells a story, and though it may not shine with newness, its spirit and community make it a wonderful place to stay. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat that thrives on genuine hospitality and the magic of the festive season, this hotel might just be the perfect fit for you. I left with a heart full of gratitude and fond memories, reminding me that sometimes the most beautiful experiences come from the simplest places.

I stayed in 3 hotels in Bali, and the one I was most satisfied with was The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa
The hotel is the venue for the G20 Bali Summit, so I thought it would be a good choice. After comparison, I found that Ctrip did have an advantage, so I placed an order before departure.
When I arrived at the hotel, I had a feeling that the hotel would be very pleasantly surprised when I took a taxi to enter the hotel area and had to go through a security check. When I passed the security check, the service staff specially gave me local flowers from Bali. After entering the hotel lobby, there were dancers in local costumes who performed a welcome dance. The experience was very good~
When checking in, the hotel upgraded the original basic room type to a room with direct access to the swimming pool. This upgrade really made this experience particularly memorable. Being able to swim in and out of the room became the standard for choosing a room for the next vacation. In addition, I applied for a mobile room card through the Marriott Bonvoy app (needs to be approved by the front desk, it is recommended to apply for it together when checking in), and from then on, I started a happy life without a room card when I go out.
Hotel food and drink:
From the experience point of view, Arwana has the best experience. In August, you can experience Australian lamb chops. It is a very typical Western restaurant.
Kulkul is second. Kulkul is more snacks and drinks. It is closer to the beach, so it is very suitable for eating and drinking in the afternoon sun. However, the experience is flawed. On the first day, I ordered coconut water. After eating, I took the coconut back to the room and found that the coconut was already sour. I guess it was not fresh when it was served.
Banyubiru is the location of the self-service breakfast restaurant. The variety is very rich. When I sat indoors on the first day, the indoor waiter was very considerate. Everything was delivered in time, and if the ice cream was not finished, he would help pack it; on the second day, when I was outdoors, all the waiters made people feel that the service attitude was average. I didn’t maliciously speculate whether they were only willing to serve white people, but I did feel that they were treated differently.

I had a great stay and experience at the Holiday Inn Resort. I arrived exhausted, sore & with the “Bali Belly” from my busy week in Ubud. The lovely lady at the reception immediately picked up on my state upon arrival. I appreciated her inquiring about what was wrong and her sympathy. The hotel also offered me complimentary ginger, turmeric, honey & lemon tea several times for the issue with my stomach. I found a gecko in my room. They tried to get it out but failed. They instead upgraded my room and moved me to a gecko free room. I really appreciated that gesture. The spa was equally amazing. I was met with friendly smiling staff all day long around the hotel. I loved the breakfast and the beach views. Thank you so much Holiday Inn for making my last few days in Bali Amazing. Don’t hesitate to book it!

My friend and I stayed at St Regis for two nights. This was our first stop for Bali and we were left with fantastic first impression. The resort has offered above and beyond services. Everyone was super nice. The hotel offers great facilities. We booked the orchid garden room. It is so spacy!
The breakfast, I can't compliment enough. There's a variety choice of cuisine and types of food, and everyone remembered my preference. The resort offered foie gras and lobster for breakfast, and it was done perfectly. Foie gras are buttery with a smooth texture, and melts in your mouth. We celebrated Chinese New Year there. There was lion dance and the restaurant offered special menu for Chinese New Year. We felt included.
If you are going for a drink in the St Regis bar, the staff probably will recommend you to try red snapper, which is a Balinese bloody Mary. Be prepared that you will be shocked. This is unlike any bloody Mary you can find anywhere in the world. It's so full of flavour! My personal preference is the pina colada at the pool bar.
Overall, this is a 10/10 experience. We would definitely re-visit for our next trip.

The pool villla was great, two large bedrooms and bathrooms with a good size pool and a day bed to relax. Staff were very nice and always happy to help. Food was good and special note to Frida at the restaurant for great service and always with a smile. The spa is also very good and special thanks to the spa staff. Highly recommended. We had a very nice stay.

Each day, breakfast was served with almost the same content.
Furthermore, there was a small variety of Indonesian food at breakfast.
The air conditioner was out of order and it was too hot to sleep on the first day.
I informed the front desk that it was malfunctioning, but there was no improvement the first day, and when I complained the next day as well, repairs were made. During this process, the customer was not informed if the repair was completed or not.
The location was in a quiet area, so it was a little far from the main tourist attractions, but the price of meals and massages were cheaper than nusa dua area.
Still, compared to the local area, various prices were higher for tourists.
The deposit is requested at the time of initial reception, but please note that it will not be refunded unless I ask for a refund at check-out.
The hotel staff were all smiling and excellent service.

We spent 5 days here for our honeymoon and 5 days at another part of Bali and it was the perfect stay.
Customer service is brilliant with lovely food.
The facilities are excellent and the private pool is great. I loved staying there and would definitely go back.
Thanks for an amazing time.
There is a car service to take you to the beach or to other areas of the hotel area. What amazed me was that all the hotels are in the one area, so you're walking around a large 5 star complex, as opposed to a local area.
I would recommend this place to anyone, it's amazing.
Thanks for a great stay.

AAilunfanzhongyanFirst of all very old school hotel.
The queue at the front desk is very slow, and it takes about 10 minutes for one person to check in. I feel that the manpower is not enough
The second is that the tour guides in their lobby are not familiar with the surrounding business, so they can't talk about the places that can be played around. They just tell you to go to their swimming pool and shopping mall.
The third is that the spa is basically full every day and cannot be ranked
The fourth is that all toiletries are requested before they are given.
Many employees are lazy, this is my comparison with other hotels.
Overall....really ordinary and old school

GGuest UserThe rooms are large, but old, they don’t do or don’t want to renovate, there is a jacuzzi on the balcony, the pool on the territory is small and the water in it is hot, the beach is something special, I have never seen such a pigsty anywhere, there is algae all around with garbage, if it’s overseas, it’s definitely not here, but it’s okay to spend the night. Next to the hotel there is a store, a bunch of different cafes and other things.

EElaineHotel breakfast is unexpectedly good! I would recommend Egg Benedict!
The lobby looks a bit old but inside the garden, poolside and restaurant are still nice.
Traffic jam is crazy in Bali, the location is a bit far from the tourist attraction. It’s better to spend all day chilling inside the resort rather than sightseeing :)

GGuest UserThe staff at the reception are very courteous and helpful notably one lady 'Ayu'. The restaurant or housekeeping is perhaps understaffed - I am not sure since we had to remind through the front desk that the plates and cutlery needed clean up after the room service was ordered. The aesthetics of the hotel are excellent but some maintenance in form of facelift is perhaps due. The property boosts beautiful swimming pools and gentle soothing tropical traditional music offering a very warm welcoming feeling. The family room which we opted for is large and spacious with large 2 single beds, a large king bed and a nice private jacuzzi. The restaurant has a decent choice of western and asian breakfast options with decent choice for vegetarians too. The hotel had kept ready breakfast boxes upon our request for us at 5:30 am since we had an early morning flight to catch. We felt this is a good sign of hospitality which other bigger brand hotels should also follow in other destinations.
