Wow this place is a hidden gem. Perfect place to relax and enjoy your time while taking care of yourself during your vacation. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful in anything I needed. The instructors were great and supportive during my stay and made it very special. The food was absolutely amazing! So tasty and delicious. Do your self a favor, if your looking for a slow pace, relaxed and high quality place, come here - super recommended! Thank you for making my arrival to Bali so comfortable and exactly as I needed.

Everything about our stay at the Asa Maia was perfect. Incredible facilities, yoga classes and contrast therapy sessions, food, staff… we liked it so much we stayed an additional 5 nights! Highly recommend.

The Asa Maia is such a wonderful place to stay that we stayed there once in February and again in March. I would highly recommend. First of all, I think Uluwatu is the best area to stay in all of Bali. It is not nearly as crowded as the other well known locations, has beautiful beaches, great restaurants and an overall good vibe. The Asa Maia is ideally located and an easy walk to many areas of interest. The staff is exceptional from the owner to the gardeners. Great care has been taken to make this place special. Morning and afternoon yoga, amazing restaurant overlooking the pool, contrast therapy (cold plunge), infrared sauna, breath work, massage, etc. The communal table makes it easy to get to know others guests if you like. I could go on and on, but this is one of the best places we have ever stayed.

This wellness spar resort is incedible and well worth the visit. We had a fabulous time there, the place is as close to nature as you can get. The staff are the best, from house keeping up to Martha the owner and her son who are hands on and very friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. Its very laid back and our only complaint would be that our 5 night stay was way too short sadly! We highly recommend this place and thank everyone there for making our holiday in Bali amazing, Thank you.

My husband and I were looking for a wellness retreat in Bali that had thoughtful wellness sessions , nourishing healthy food and a relaxing beautiful place. We looked at different places and found Asa Maia and it exceeded our expectations. The breathwork, yoga, qigong, contrast therapy and yoga sessions by all the practitioners were amazing and really opened our eyes to the power of tapping into our subsconcious and recharging in ways that really changed us. And everyone there including the wonderful manger Axel made you feel so comfortable . The resort was also built with the most beautiful natural and historical materials and embodied true barefoot luxury- thanks to the inspiring and creative vision of the owner/designer Martha. Everything about the place was superb and we can't wait to go back again!

The Asa Maia is a truly exceptional place - we came for an eight-day/seven night EXHALE package. In every detail of this 10-room property you will see owner Martha Booke's brilliance, attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, exquisite aesthetic and connection to Bali. Guests sleep in painstakingly relocated and reassembled traditional east Javanese gladak houses with sloped bamboo roofing. Each gladak has been modernised with gorgeous bathrooms and outdoor showers, sensitive lighting systems and Sumba textiles by Earthline Architects who has also conjured up the AMAZING contrast therapy hot/cold plunge centre, main reception building/spa, sexy gym with all Pilates equipment, heavenly yoga shala, restaurant, divine pool (with steps perfect for reading IN the pool), sauna and ceremonial fire area. The EXHALE program includes all meals (YUM!), several daily yoga classes with a roster of hand-picked fab teachers - Daniela is a beautifully gifted teacher able to teach at every level - as well as exceptional yoga classes she integrates aspects of classic Pilates mat work and Capoiera, also great Yin and Vinyasa classes by Sarah and Koni are available. Breathwork combined with hot/cold therapy with the truly extraordinary Noah Sherwin is also a transformative experience. All spa trea**ents in the unpretentious, gorgeous spa (try and have a flower bath) are world-class. In our experience, every member of staff was truly fabulous, going above and beyond. By the end of the week, we felt truly at home. There are not many hotels in the world where you will see the owner dropping by for an infrared sauna and a juice shot. Trust the way each wellness program is designed. We loved the mix of guests, from (straight and LBGTQIA) couples dropping in for a long weekend, mums and daughters, new mums having a massive rest, cool older couples, design aficionados, fitspos and super casual types. We all sit at a humungous communal table for meals but there is no obligation to mingle if you want to chill. The wifi works really well too - and I found it a great place for thinking, writing and reading. Located in a perfect spot right near the insanely beautiful beach break at Uluwatu but nestled away from main road traffic and throngs of motorbikes, it's easy to go out for sunset and a nice meal (concierge make great recommendations and they have a golf buggy to shuttle you around) but we chose to stay in all but one night because it was so tranquil and the food was so exquisite - daily specials of Balinese curries made from scratch, all sorts of jamu juices, ginger shots, pandan crepes and power cacao bowls. One of the best experiences we have done in all our travels around the world! The staff were amazingly friendly and kind. Food incredible and fresh. Ammenities were amazing with hot/cold pools, yoga, gym, Infared sauna and much more. I appreciate the care taken by the staff to make sure our stay was comfortable. Thankyou to Tanti at front desk. Thankyou to Maria & Vic at the restaurant who blessed us with great service when we had our meals for the day. Thankyou to Cilla also from the Spa who made our messages and spa trea**ents some of the best we have had. Thankyou to Daniella and Noah for our morning yoga and Breathwork sessions. I apologise if i misspelt or missed any names. And Thankyou to Asa Maia for the overall experience. We can’t wait to be back again.

Only came for the massage, but great overall experience! Cilla the therapist is very attentive and sweet. She helped target my requested areas (back and shoulders) and was thoughtful in explaining the oils and stuff. Got a tea at the bar and sunbathed a bit. All the staff I interacted with were very nice and welcoming. Would recommend for anyone looking for a chill and relaxing time

Loved our stay! We were all spoilt. The service was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was all made in house and beautifully presented. Compliments yoga was the best we have ever experienced.
