Firstly, the good: the room was spacious with an amazing sea view from the window and views of the village, jungle covered hills and Mount Agung from the wrap-around balcony. The sea is mere steps away and has gorgeous snorkeling just a few meters from the shore.
Staff were attentive and helpful.
Great cafes and warungs immediately around the hotel.
We were pretty much in heaven.
However - and this can easily be fixed - the shower drain in the bathroom lacks a gas trap, meaning sewage smells emanate from the drain the whole time.
This meant we had to keep the bathroom, which is also poorly ventilated, closed at all times.
The one time we went out forgetting to close the bathroom door, the whole room stank hideously.
The staff were helpful, providing air freshener and incense to cover the smell, but a visit from a good plumber would fix this entirely.
Aside from this glaring issue, I would highly recommend.

Kami menghabiskan 4 malam di hotel menawan yang sangat kecil ini dengan harga yang sangat wajar kamar yang sangat terang di tepi laut dengan kolam renang pemandangan Gunung Agung yang sangat indah, matahari terbenam yang luar biasa, stafnya menawan. Saya sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini meskipun tidak pada tingkat yang sama dengan Resort tetapi mengingat harga itu sangat bagus

The room was basic but enough for us. We spent most of the time outside and snorkelling so the basic didnt bother us. Would have loved to have a bar fridge in the room to cool the water though.
The bathroom is always humid though.
Location is great and close to shops and food. Rimba cafe is close and its great for smoothie bowls. Staff was not fluent in English but they try and help you out the best they can

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend for travellers wanting a beach front, value for money stay.
The staff were so helpful and friendly, a highlight of our stay!
Our second floor room was very spacious and clean with a balcony over the pool and facing the ocean.
Just to the right of the hotel beachfront is the snorkelling area for underwater exploring. The hotel will hire out snorkel and flippers for a small fee.
I had an omelette for breakfast which was delicious, and they had a nice basic menu with other options.
Located within walking distance of beachfront bars and restaurants, shops, it’s very central.
Another highlight was the view to the left of Mt Agung and a 5 minute walk to the right for a stunning early sunrise view.
We will definitely stay again next time we’re at Amed beach

Lille sted, som ligger perfekt med adgang til strand og fin pool.Gode værelser.
Ikke så god service, som ønsket.
Vi havde desværre dårligt vejr, så vandet stod overalt på området.
Vi spiste morgenmad på stedet, hvilket var lidt kedeligt, men fandt andre gode spisesteder i nærheden.
