I stayed here for a week and rented a motorcycle from the owner Ketut. She attempted to scam me by asking me to pay for a small scratch on the bike and claiming the bike had no scratches when the bike is already covered in scratches. I found out from the owner herself that she has already charged another renter for the existing scratches. So she just extorts money from guests and doesn’t actually correct the scratches. For this reason I don’t recommend doing business with this lady.

I stayed at Betesda Guest House for a week and it was so lovely. I also rented a motorcycle from Betesda for a reasonable price. The room itself ticked the most important boxes for me - it was clean and had a comfortable bed, air-con, own bathroom, somewhere to hang dry wet clothes outside, and good WiFi. The shared kitchen area is great too. All of the staff were so nice. The highlight of the guesthouse has to be the owner Ketut, she was so accommodating and helpful, always responding to my queries so quickly on WhatsApp even on unsociable hours. She helped to receive many parcels for me during my stay and contacted a courier when they didn’t deliver my parcel. They have the CUTEST cats too who kept me company some days :) I would highly recommend Betesda for its great service, cleanliness and value for money.
