VILLA When we first stepped into the villa, we were blown away by the spaciousness of the living room and bedroom. We were surprised by the beautiful carvings of the Sumitra logo on the ceiling which looked like the sun's rays. We also loved the carvings on the door. The villa has an extra large bathroom area with closets and his & her wash basins. In the living room, we marveled at the exquisite teapot and teacups specially chosen by the owners. At first we thought that it was for artistic display. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser. Lying in bed, we could take in the views of the sea in privacy. LOCATION Located at the quiet end of Sanur beach, we saw both the sunrise and sunset. It is connected to the boardwalk which we walked for many kilometers northwards. Along the boardwalk, we also checked out Genius Cafe, a vegetarian restaurant next to Sumitra. On the last Sunday of the month, we released 2-day old baby turtles. What a joy it is to watch the turtles swim to freedom. SERVICE We found it reassuring that the driver waited for us at the airport’s arrival hall. When we arrived the lobby, the staff addressed our family members by name. The local Balinese staff gave us tips on what to do and where to eat. At breakfast, we enjoyed corn fritters, Bubur Bali porridge, turmeric juice, and the artisanal coffee specially brewed at the coffee machine. At night, we sat at the terrace area and soaked in the refreshing breeze.
