Hotel is clean and typical hyatt regency in upscale area. Not much around, can walk to supermarket and parks but sights will be a drive.
Limited selection at 1F breakfast and club floor when dinner is served, but its good enough for business travellers. The gym is actually upscale private gym that hotel guests can use. You can tell from the cars parked. And has juice bar.

Very decent hotel, very great & helpful staff. They even have shuttle to iconic tourist areas which I thought was amazing.

Very nice staffs at reception, met different faces during my stay but all my needs are well taken care of. Great job front desk team! Room is spacious, location is a bit far from tourist attractions, but has supermarket within walking distance, also a shuttle bus can be booked to go to old town. Breakfast is not good as Intercontinental, very little choices so didn't eat there.

Otel Şehrin en güzel caddesinde.otel olanakları,temizligi ile guzeldi otel çalışanları guleryüzlu ve yardım konusunda bir numaralar diyebilirim.özellikle murat bey bize çok yardımcı oldu.tesekkurler Hyatt ailesi.
Hotel staff is very helpful . We have stayed in Suite Room and got CLUB LOUNGE to relax all Day .. appreciate to Staff to take care of our FOOD and everything . We must visit again soon . But there is Small recommendation that keep one INDIAN CHEIF .. Thank you so much

When I was planning my trip to Baku as a first time visitor I was sceptical of finding the right hotel. I took a chance with Hyatt Regency Baku and I can say that was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff are the lifeline of the hotel. The executive club lounge is taken care by Dawood who is such a pleasant and hard working boy. He is constantly attending and catering to everyone's needs and indulges in conversations inspite of the language barrier. The breakfast is great and it caters to all tastebuds. Sawra and Ayraj are always around to help you with anything that you need. Saymur and Ilken are fabulous managers overlooking the entire running of operations. They are quick to help for anything that you may need. It was such a great experience staying here that we can't wait to be back.

Staff were friendly, professional and helpful, from the drivers to those working at reception and housekeeping, waitstaff and chefs. Room was clean and spacious with wonderful linens and fluffy pillows, and the bathroom was luxurious with separate tub and shower and bidet. Would highly recommend executive rooms with access to the "boardroom", where food and drinks are served every evening.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the outstanding service from Seymur, Ilkin, Irada, and the entire team. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made our experience unforgettable. The hotel rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the newly renovated restaurant added a special touch to our visit. We highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Great hotel. Location is near from city centre. Staff who went above and with Par service Farid Valimatov and Rafat at front desk made the arrival experience seamless and made sure I am well taken care off during the stay. Breakfast team was amazing special mention of Rasim I never had to ask anything after my first day he knew all my preferences next day and made me so welcoming. Also Samza the host always smiling and Chef Naila made awesome breakfast preparations which cannot be missed to appreciate. Rooms are well maintained and Housekeeping team did excellent job!!! Hope I see you all once again.

Compared to my last visit two years ago shortly after the end of the pandemic era, I am happy to see that Hyatt Regency Baku has now become much more vibrant than before with many locals as well as business and leisure travellers from all over the world choosing to stay. I could see this Hyatt property, under the management and supervision of Mr. Orkhan Alakbarov, never slacks off in striving for product update, operational refinement and service perfection in order to elevate guest experiences to the greatest extent possible. Orkhan is an insightful and experienced leader, capable of seeing around corners to meet with business challenges and achieve organisational excellence. He not just manages to cultivate a collaborative culture among the team, but also succeeds in assigning the right persons to the right roles through understanding the strengths and ambitions of each individual associate. One of the examples would be Seymur, who served as a member of the concierge team for over six years until Orkhan took over the GM position having identified his potential and promoted him to become the guest experience specialist. Shortly after checking in my room I had difficulty in getting access to the WiFi, the reliability of which was not as promising as what Hyatt hotels used to provide. I went to the front office to seek assistance. While the front office associates were a bit laid back, Seymur came to me at the reception area and actively assisted. He still remembered me as a returning guest since my last stay in September 2022. Seymur made numerous attempts to help resolve the issue by, say, liaising with the IT team, coming to my room to test the connection, bringing me a spare router as connection back-up etc., just for the sake of seamlessness of my stay. He is extremely passionate about taking care of all guests, not just me, as I could observe him offering proactive assistance to whoever approaches him for any issues pertaining to their stays with this property. Throughout my time with Hyatt Regency Baku, I could hardly come across an associate who managed to treat guests with heart and passion to the same extent as Seymur, as if they were his family members or friends. Seymur is not only helpful and friendly but also professional in managing guests’ experience. He actively followed through any issues that were brought to him, and put much efforts on ensuring them to be timely and effectively resolved. Hyatt has been well known for its exceptional hospitality, whenever and wherever, and Seymur clearly exhibits this quality and even surpasses the conventional standard of Hyatt. Seymur is a role model for many others and I highly appreciate him. I once spoke to Orkhan that I will spread the good news on all possible channels in recognition of the outstanding service of Seymur. He deserves my wholehearted compliments as per above.

I left a piece of my heart in this hotel because of the incredible staff who are so welcoming and so well trained to handle guests with great hospitality, care and to resolve issues quickly. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel on our first trip to Azerbaijan (which we fell in love with). The hotel is about half an hour from the airport. We arrived very early in the morning and they allowed us to get the room early (thanks to Sabir who checked us in). Our room was nice, clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is about 20 min to the Old City. The hotel offers a shuttle but on a limited time schedule. We used it just once but found the Bolt app (similar to Uber) offered excellent service with a very low cost (use cash or Google pay as the credit card option won't work for most foreigners. During our stay, every request we had was taken care of by the staff quickly and in an excellent manner. The front desk personnel Ilkin and Seymur were so friendly and super helpful. I have recovered from a foot issue (plantar fasciitis) and when my special shoes had an issue and needed to be glued, Seymur walked us to the shoe repair place near the hotel and when he found out it was closed he walked to so many places with us to find a shoe repair place on a Sunday. I've stayed in many hotels all around the world having traveled to 105 countries but no hotel staff has ever been so kind to drop their work as the front desk manager to walk all over the town to help one of his many guests! Absolutely outstanding!! The breakfast staff were also all amazing and so so so friendly such as Turan, Samra (so lovely), Nijat & Rasim. On our last day, we met Orkhan the general manager to tell him about our great experience at his hotel and within a few minutes of talking to him it was apparent to us as to why his staff was so outstanding. His attitude, his expertise and his leadership enabling his staff to do their best for the guests is evident everywhere in this Hyatt hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to others visiting Baku.
