Our stay here was absolutely magical! The weather was perfect—chilly and pleasant, with a nice breeze. Since we’re used to hot weather, it was like a dream come true. The reception area was huge and right next to it was a great restaurant that served delicious Nasi Goreng. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the resort itself was clean and well-maintained. The view was incredible! From our room on the Kinabalu Wing, we could see the majestic Mount Kinabalu. It was breathtaking! Just a heads up, the dirt and stone road leading to the resort is about 2.2 km long, and if you’re not used to it, it might be a bit bumpy. If you’re coming here for the first time, it’s best to arrive before dark. I’m definitely going back here again! Maybe next time, I’ll have a barbecue under the stars of Kinabalu. That would be epic!

The vibe has a bit of a 90s throwback feel, but everything is clean and well-maintained. A Few Things to Keep in Mind Bugs: There are occasional bugs, but it seems they're manageable. Just be sure to keep doors and windows closed at night. Limited Climate Control: There's no air conditioning, but it cools down at night. Remote Location: The hotel is located on a high hill, about 2.3km away (unpaved road) from the main area, which takes around 30 minutes to reach. Dining: There are limited dining options nearby. Stock up on snacks or be sure to order room service before 10 pm. Visibility: Fog can roll in at night, so plan to arrive before dark. Overall, this hotel is perfect for those seeking a unique experience with an incredible view. Just be prepared for the "rustic" charm and slightly limited amenities.
