This is a beautiful hotel directly on Lake Bacalar. They have canoes and paddle boards for use. There are a good number of beach chairs and areas to relax by the lake shore. The grounds are well maintained and pretty. The restaurant is very good. The bar makes good drinks. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was clean and they cleaned the rooms daily. There were only 2 negatives for us for the hotel. 1) The hotel is not easy for someone with mobility issues to get around in. The rooms we were in had steps to get into the bathroom. All of the walking surfaces are uneven. No handrails. For many, this may not be a problem,but my father-in-law did have some difficulty. 2) The TV in one of the rooms didn't work. The staff tried several times to fix it, so the staff tried, but my father-in-law was without his TV during our stay. But we did enjoy our stay. And, as long as you don't have mobility issues, we can recommend this hotel.

The dock and food were amazing. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Not too close to town so it was nice and quiet.
The rooms were very basic. The room layout and decor could be improved. There were no bedside lamps or charging points. You had to go across the room to turn off the lights. Shower curtains were flimsy and falling off. If they added a little love to the rooms, this would be a perfect 10.

Amazing view of the lake from the property. It’s located in one of the best areas of the lake to enjoy the shallow clear waters. Hotel breakfast was delicious

Beautiful location, very friendly staff which is helpful. Access to lagoon is amazing and plenty of good advice to get from the staff over what to do.
Rooms are big and comfortable. Could definitely benefit with some work bringing up to date, and renewal, and also some outdoor furniture for the balconies.

The road entrance for the hotel needs work, two small packets of shampoo, two towels(reserved for 4 people)i had breakfast included they say i didn't, had to pay for it.

El lugar está increíble, la vista a la laguna es única, está muy bonito en generak; los chicos son muy atentos y hospitalarios y la comida de 10!
Sin embargo, el acceso al hotel es terrible; el camino para llegar está poco identificado, sin luz, es de terracería; requiere mucho cuidado para poder ingresar

Le falta atención, su personal se esfuerza pero esta limitado, le falta capacitación y recursos materiales, hace falta personal; una persona de mantenimiento; en la cocina el chef esta solo. Tardan mucho en servir la comida, todas las veces estuvo fría y no tienen lo que dice su carta.
