Atlantica Bay - Adults Only

Refurbished kind of “old style club” hotel from the 90ies. Nice big pool and spacious sun deck area. Buffet breakfast okay, but closing sharp 10am. Room with small balcony and “partial sea view” (number .20, .22) was for me sufficient and a bargain.

I booked this hotel for my business trip on May 21-23, 2024. After a long flight to Cyprus my experience with Atlantica Bay was a torture: 1. Loud disco until 22:00 2. Silent Disco from 22:00 until 23:38: a crowd of 50-100 people dancing in headsets and singing drunk songs loudly. It’s just technically impossible to sleep before midnight no matter how tired you are. And the hotel doesn’t notify you about that. 3. I asked reception if the same “silent” party happens the next day. The response I received was: go and read the timetable yourself. 4. After the party finally ended at 23:38, I discovered that a light switch is broken so it was not possible to turn off the lights in the bathroom (the door is made of glass, so the room is led up too). 5. The reception refused to change my room at first attempt. Instead, they decided to run a series of experiments with electricity. That was well after midnight. And I waited. Finally they agreed to change the room, but it took quite a while to find one. 6. In the new room a giant cockroach was waiting for us in a middle of a wardrobe. I asked for a comment, and the staff response was : «Well, it’s Cyprus!». Well, perhaps he was right. 7. Next morning I checked out a one day earlier of my planned departure. The hotel refused to return my money for the last night. They said that it’s my travel agency who doesn’t allow change in the booking. I called my agency and they contacted the reception: the hotel rejected their request too. 8. I never heard a single apology from the hotel. 9. The hotel refused to give me an invoice upon my departure. They said that invoice will be ready only the next day, when my booking formally ends. The reception promised me to send invoice by email. And of course, they failed to do so. Now it’s my problem to get my invoice out of them (it was a business trip so I have to present the invoice to my company). Overall, the hotel left me feel disrespected, frustrated, tired and humiliated. Awful, terrible experience.

As a couple (28-30yo) we We’re quite shocked to figure out that we were only one of about 10 people of our age at the hotel ! The average age of the clientele is 65 ! So we wouldn’t recommend this to couples or people of our age ! As frequent travellers we were looking forward to a four star plus experience when we booked this hotel only five weeks before flying. We visited this hotel on 8th May 24 - The first impressions were great we were greeted with a welcome drink and we were checked into our room very quickly despite it being 10:30 pm! The rooms are lovely we were in a double room with sea view! As we arrived quite late we were both quite hungry but they did put on snacks and sandwiches for those late arrivals which was quite nice as we were worried that we wouldn’t get any food until the next day so that was a pleasant surprise! The maid service is fantastic and they also offer a turndown service which we were surprised to also receive in the evenings! The hotel room was gorgeous it has been renovated recently which was quite evident there was always fresh sheets available fresh towels, robes and slippers and they had a lovely view of the balcony and everything was extremely clean and tidy! The Seaview rooms are definitely worth the extra money as you have an outstanding view across Limassol beach and all of the pool area! The restaurant and bar staff are amazing extremely attentive and friendly. extremely polite and also had quick service! The pool is genuinely very clean but cold ( but i imagine that’s lovely when it gets hotter!) And all of the outdoor seating areas are kept very clean there was no rubbish in site and the hotel itself was exceptionally well kept! If you LOVE cats you will be in your element! There’s loads all around the pool and terrace area! When we initially booked this hotel the way that the hotel is described does give you a false sense of The idea that it has more than one restaurant. We were a little bit shocked to discover that the hotel for the size of it has only one restaurant which gives a buffet style meal for breakfast lunch and dinner. À la Carte restaurant is not separate, which usually you do find in most four-star plus hotels , this is literally just sectioned off with two doors and 2 partitioning walls from the main restaurant ( the walls don’t touch one end?!) The ‘ Live cooking station’ isn’t really live, it’s just a grill with a chef and he puts it to the side for you to help yourself. The breakfast is quite limited you are served with the typical full English breakfast style every morning but they do have some fruits and yoghurts available but there was no mixup so each morning you knew exactly what you were going to be given. They had four different types of cereals available, But again I was expecting something a little bit different each morning! personally for the two of us we found at lunch was the best meal as they seem to rotate the different type of food choices the most at

We stayed here last minute after our flights elsewhere got cancelled so arrived in Cyprus with no plans or expectations. It’s safe to say the trip was unforgettable and Limassol is truly special. Our time was made even better by one of our amazing Tui reps Amelia and is a standout staff member. Her Aqua Fit classes are fantastic—fun, accessible, and held in a beautiful pool area. Lovely hotel, great staff, excellent choice of food, room is great (superior over looking pool) everywhere is SO clean,good car parking. Room cleaning fantastic. Room has English sockets with charging point for gadgets, iron and hairdryer. Staff go the extra mile to ensure you are having a good holiday . Staff are mindful of disability needs which I appreciate. Good lift access to all levels, you can get a wheelchair in the lift +1 other person. There seems to be activities going on,well attended. Pools close at 17.00. Be mindful if your room overlooks the pool, all evening entertainment is on the lobby terrace, which you will hear above the room TV. It does end ,stop at 23.00. But noise continues until bar shuts or stops serving alcohol. We learnt that a silent disco, isn't, all singing out of tune ..... Also the pool overlooks a road, road noise is evident if sitting out on the balcony or around pool. You will hear the 16.00 quiz , 17.00 sound check, evening quizzes etc....... These are just honest opinions, if you like partying the night away you won't mind. Rooms overlooking car park will be quieter. If we had known we wouldn't have paid extra for a better room with sea view, opposite are villas, the sea view, no beach view.

Our first time at an all inclusive and package holiday with TUI. The team at Atlantica Bay are amazing and made our holiday so wonderful! The activities were great with the highlight being Ged and the amazing aqua dance! All staff were very attentive and happy to solve any problems small or big! Food was lovely too! We can’t wait to come back during the summer season to experience the hotel in full swing, but if you’re looking for a more paired down time then april is a fantastic time to go too!

We have just spent 2 weeks at Atlantic Bay Hotel 4 stars given because keeping room on was very expensive. The rest of the holiday I can't fault I had 2 massages by Panos on the spa and it was very relaxing do much so after first massage I booked again for later in the week The food was the best we have had in a long time there was a lot of choice every day either hot or cold and it was nice to sample local food as well. The drinks option was very good and they made nice coffee in the reception and at the pool bar. The room was lovely and modern, and the mini bar was well stocked every day. We went into limassol by bus then cost 1.50 euros about half hour ride. My husband had to go to the pharmacy just after we got there be very careful the young lady didn't know what she was doing, gave my husband vitamin tablets for a sinus cold!!! Room stocked with shower gel shampoo and conditioner show cap and a handy sewing kit. It cost us €120 to keep the room on till 6pm which is expensive but ment we had another full day round the pool We are coming back in October for another 2 weeks and looking forward to it. The evening entertainment not the reps were a bit hit and miss and silent disco could be noisy with people singing out of tune!! Our roo. Was over the terrace so we couldn't get away from any noise on an evening but wasn't to bad all went quiet around 11pm All in all, it's a really nice hotel

How can anyone fault this hotel?! We stayed for a week in June 2024 as a 30 year old couple. We booked as we like TUI blue hotels and know what to expect. We had room 333 which was so lovely. Excellent sea view, balcony was lush and the room was clean, modern, spacious and excellent working air con. Massive, comfy bed. We paid £100 extra for the superior room and we had a bottle of red wine, and a lovely view. We didn’t get to see the normal rooms to compare, but I would book an upgrade again. This was our first holiday after our wedding and the staff left a bottle of sparkling wine in our room the second day which was a lovely surprise. The fridge is stocked daily with pepsi, zup, water and beer. We had a bath with a shower over it, excellent working shower and bath. The bathroom comes with shower gel and a generous size shampoo, so no need to worry about bringing those with you. However, the conditioner is very small, so if you are like me and have long hair, I would take one with you. We ended up walking to the local shop, which is just to the left of the front of the hotel, which was reasonably priced. We bought extra lemonade etc for the room to pop in the fridge, as we’d bought a bottle of vodka from duty free to have a quick drink in the room. There is also a small shop on site which we found towards the end of our holiday. Perfect for souvenirs. It’s on 0 in the lift in the lobby. The daytime entertainment was fab, and there was always something to watch or get involved in. 11am comes water aerobics or aqua dance done by the amazing Jed or Amelia. Both of these reps (and the other two!) were great. So friendly, helpful, and go out of their way for you. The way they work so so hard in the boiling hot heat, they are genuinely a credit to the hotel. 3pm there is volleyball or water polo, all ages getting involved which is lovely to see, people enjoying their holiday. 4pm comes the poolside quiz, which I did everyday from my sun lounger, the winner has a bottle of sparking wine. On Mondays they do the pool party, where they play music, bring round cocktails and put inflatables in the pool. This was fun to watch and everyone seems to enjoy. The nighttime entertainment was just what we wanted really. There were live singers, a saxophone player, music bingo, music quiz, and the silent disco. It was on the outside terrace (0 in the lift). Steve Welsh was fab, from Aberdare! We always managed to get a seat outside but it does get busy around 9pm. Our balcony was facing the entertainment which we liked and I honestly don’t see how this could bother you on holiday. People are enjoying themselves, and the silent disco stops at 11am, it was fun to get involved in when we wanted to, but also fun to listen to as well. Honestly, this is no harm at all so ignore people moaning about this. I personally thought there was something for everyone. The drinks at the bar in the day and the evening were always great. Just been on a week long stay at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned and the mini fridge stocked up with a good selection of water fizzy drinks and beer daily. I found that the food was lovely, a good selection including desert. The best part about the hotel was the TUI staff. During the day and evening there was a variety of activities, games and evening entertainment to keep you occupied and entertained which were available to all. I found that the staff were so easy to chat to and welcoming, in particular I would say Ellinor really stood out her positivity and approachability really made the difference. Each day she would come over for a chat and took the time to assist you any way she could which really made a difference. Also Always made us laugh with her clumsiness. Overall had a great experience and would come again.
