It is in such an unsafe neighborhood that the windows are literally boarded up! No aircon, hard bed, cold shower with a dirty mop and bucket in the bathroom. It has nothing of comfort. Cobble stones to walk with heavy suitcases for several blocks getting lost because taxis don't drive there. The owner has a few properties. He shows photos and address of his town center apar**ent then when you arrive he changes the address charging the same expensive price and then you are stuck. It was so horrible we had to forfeit our 300 +Euros a night for 5 nights and try to find another accommodation the next day. He didn't refund us a cent and there is nothing you can do about it and he has been getting away with it for years. That explains why you get horrible reviews and good reviews from this place. I'm surprised this guy who runs it is still allowed. We chose his city center so we could walk around and see the sights. We were placed far from the tourist area. There are plenty of nice places to stay that are reliable and professional. It ruined our holiday and cost us a lot of money we didn't anticipate. I can't remember the exact date we were there but I will never forget the experience of being completely taken advantage of. It was very sneaky. From reading old and current reviews I am surprised he has been getting away with it for so long.

Don't book here, the owner just wants to scam you. I wasted a whole day trying to make payments in good faith, using 4 different cards that worked perfectly fine for other hotels, making international calls to my bank and thinking the problem is me. Meanwhile no one answers the phones at La Croix during business hours. Finally I decide I'm done I just can't do business with a place that can't do the simple task of processing a payment. I say on WhatsApp, this is not working, I am done. Then instead of apologizing for my experience the owner threatens me with the fact that my booking is non refundable. Then like magic, he charges me a cancellation fee that is the whole amount. Come to find out from the credit card company that his account has already been flagged. Don't book here.

J’avais réservé en juillet 2020 avant l’arrivée du Covid. La carte bleue ne passait visiblement pas sur le site, j’ai traité directement avec le propriétaire. Finalement, je n’ai pas pu m’y rendre suite aux restrictions sanitaires dans mon pays. Ce monsieur ne m’a jamais remboursé et ne répond pas à mes mails. A éviter absolument !
