They should not offer breakfast if it is poorly offered.

Hotel is about a 100ft from the main road downtown. It’s a nice hotel, but definitely not lixury. Bring your own toothbrush.

Old historic spot with its presence in Avalon since 1891. it is an old Victorian building but rooms are upgraded and clean. Location is excellent with its close proximity to most Avalon attractions.

The place was clean and the staff was amazing. THE NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT THE CHI CHI CLUB ACROSS THE STREET WAAY TOO LOUD. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP WITHOUT EAR PLUGS!!! The whole place was kind of settling it appeared so when you walk through the halls you feel a little drunk tipping from side to side. This was doable with the exception of the bed!! It was waaaay too soft and being at a downhill slope all of the blood just settled in my head. I would never stay here again unless it was the last option

I don't know where to start describing this wonderful experience. It was 11.30 when we arrived in Avalon by ferry. Normal check-in time was 3 pm. But the wonderful Denish helped us a lot during the reservation. We had a great conversation with this lovely woman who is very approachable and friendly. She checked us in early and gave us the key to our room. We encountered a small problem when we got to our queen size room and went back down to Denish. I don't know how to praise her, but she immediately upgraded our room and gave us the suite where Charlie Chaplin stayed. And without charging any fee. My husband and I loved Denish very much. We didn't see her again afterward, but Sam helped us. He is also a very friendly and sweet person and helped us check out. We feel very lucky to stay in Charlie Chaplin's room and to stay in this clean beautiful room close to the ferry, the center, everything. I strongly recommend it. We were looking for the best hotel in terms of both price and performance, and we definitely found the hotel we wanted. We left the hotel and Avalon very happy.
