Aparthotel Arona - Happy Rentals

Liked · Old building located in a nice central square, near bars and nice restaurants. Great view of the lake. The embankment starts on that square - I had nice walks there. Disliked · No parking on weekends in 700m during the low season - they tick in the apar**ent profile that there is parking (and write in some subsection that the parking is public that is a scam for me as we missed it - we wouldn't choose it); quite poor and old interior and facilities for that pricetag; many stairs; they obligate us to throw the trash while the trash bin is in 600m; additional fees hidden in a subsection; very (very very) low ceiling on the last floor; the manager was not friendly. I think that the HappyRental - the company that manages this apar**ent doesn't do it fairly. The check-in process was also unpleasant - we were required to fill in a lot of data on the road. Why didn't they send it in advance? It is too overrated. This is the first time that I give a mark under 4. Find another one.

This property was in the middle of the piazza, still very quiet and unit was facing the lake. Amazing views, and I loved being able to walk outside and be in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping area.

Fantastic apar**ent. Checkin was flawless and the apar**ent was directly to the lake, and a very nice square with loads of restaurants. Very friendly host. Only bad thing was the food in the restaurants, not very Italian. The town on the other side of the lake was nice, and you could eat nice there. Definitely coming back!
