Not a bad place to stay if your up in the area for some fishing. Nice bar restaurant next door with great food.

The clerk put me at the end of the building. I dont know why they think this is ok ro put si gle travel women at the end of the building especially since the hotel was freaking emptied. The door security bar was broken, not there at all. The sink stopper was broken so after i used it it didnt come up to drain the water so at 3 in the morning, the sink had been dripping then spilled over, floor was wet..it was a nigh**are. I had to leave in a few hours for work so i didnt bother complaining. No coffee in the morning like i was told it would be.. just an absolute disappoin**ent with this place.

Upon checking in, found bugs all over in the room. Fabric chairs covered in stains. Could smell old smoke in the rooms. Smoke detector didnt appear to be functional and was also yellow with smoke. Staff was not helpful. Was told a manager would call me, but never did. They also charged my card three times and had to dispute through my credit card. Did not stay and had to find other accommodations. Travelocity should include bugs in their insurance coverage.

The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the pillows. They were yellow stained.. had to go buy a couple of pillows. Lesson learned.. always bring your own pillows

Attention to detail. We were a large group with several rooms. Some rooms didn't have towels, some didn't have TP some didn't have soap, etc. The light globe in the back entrance has at least 2 inches of dead bugs in it, fire hazard waiting to happen. I get you're not going to get a 4 or 5 star experience in Arlington, SD, but when you're paying the same rates as in Brookings, it should at least have basic supplies.

We enjoyed that it was nextdoor to 1481 Grille in Arlington, where we were able to walk over to eat! We had a comfortable weekend stay. It was not too far from DeSmet, which was our destination for Laura Ingalls Wilder historical sites.
