Hornavan Hotell

Very basic hotel, I think it’s mostly for the car testers during the winter months who come and work around here. As a tourist couple I think it’s ok for the night if you just looking for a place to sleep as there are few options. Unfortunately small window for the lovely view. Staff doesn’t know anything, they are seasonal workers and not locals. Stayed in room 32X

Room was fine, warm, comfortable and clean, but a tad tired looking. Reception staff, although did what they were meant to, appeared as if they were called upon to do the job at short notice, not particularly good at customer facing roles. Didn’t really appear to know how to interact. Plus, one of them was continuously sniff/snorting loudly from the back of their nose/throat, in the public areas, where people were trying to drink and eat snacks, as the restaurant was closed. I really cannot emphasise just how disgusting this was. Also a bit odd with all the dead stuffed animals, but that’s just a personal thing. Shame really, as the hotel is in a beautiful location and has so much potential, but lacks any a**osphere or character whatsoever. Breakfast was fine.

This hotel is located at a convenient place, and we can walk to a supermarket, phermacy, and restaurants. The hotel serves a breakfast every morning. A coffee machine is located near the entrance of the restaurant, and you can freely enjoy drinking a couple of coffee menu and tea. At the second floor, you can do some exercise in a room for gym. Washing and drying can be done at the third floor.

Veldig bra hotell med god service og trivelig betjening! Rent og god mat, selv om menyen var litt liten.

Very friendly staff and ideally located close to the town centre.

Ubelieveable. First problem was at Check-in - as i entered the place at 3PM (which is stated in their Website as Check in time) no one was at reception. Fine. Had to look for an employee allaround and call them, with no answer. After 15 minutes someone appered, didnt even say hello, just asked my name, just gave me the key, and walked away, no explanation, no welcome, just a sour face. Fine. Secondly the common area for the jacuzzi had a horrible smell of feel, and no ventilation. I stayed for 2 nights, the first night passed on ok i guess. But on the second night Something that should NEVER happen in a hotel happend: at 11:30pm, the door of my room just opened up! Someone just entered my room! As i asked who is it, isaw a confused guy, turned out another costumer getting the same room! As i went outside while hes on the phone with someone from the hotel (of course theres no reception getting the new people in) he found out in the envelopes with keys outside my name, as i didnt even arrive yet! When i called the hotel night representetive, she was start giving me explanations of how i am NOT in the hotel and should only arrive this evening. At last she did apologize, and at the end gave me one night for free, but this is their most important job - know whos in which room and nit giving the feeling of unsafe and someone can enter the room any moment. If i could, i would give 0 Stars, but 1 is at least for the compensation they gave me. Will NEVER come back again

Føles som hjemme Spa veldig flott, og oppdatert Fin utsikt fra sauna/badstu Fin sittegruppe for avslapping Tapping for drikkevann Håndduker tilgjengelig føles frisk og ren God frokost, gode alternativer, varme pannekaker denne dag, smoothie, og ingefærshot for å våkne God kvalitet på kaffe. Friske drikke alternativ God parkering mulighet. Betjeningen er veldig imøtekommende, og svarer på eventuelle spørsmål. 😊👍 - Følte litt tung luft på rommet, når vi ankom hotellet. Burde kanskje lufte litt, før klargjøring av rom Hadde vært perfekt hvis varmekabler i gulv i dusj. Konklusjon: Dette var mitt 3 opphold. Det blir ikke det siste. 😊👍👏👏👏 Mvh Geir

Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Fin utsikt över sjön. En bättre laddplats till bilen och grädde till frukostpannkakorna så hade allt varit perfekt!
