Windmill Bay Hotel

A very nice hotel, modern, great view at the sea and pool, booked bed & breakfast. Very friendly personel, always supportful, and good food. Special thanks to the 3 women that handled breakfast & drinks / food at the pool. In the morning they arranged a perfect breakfast, fruit, break, eggs / omelet, sweeties, thee, coffee, juices for all those 'hungry' Dutch & English guests. They also cleaned up everything and served with a smile the guests at the pool. A big thank you for the great care. Of course I miss others that were less visible (kitchen personnel, etc) but all made my stay at Windmill Bay very pleasant!.

What a beautiful hotel. Clean, wonderful view and good breakfast. Loved the rules around no towels at pool until 9am. Waking up every morning to the view we had was just perfect. If I had to pick one thing to be better, the price of the snack bar is a bit more than other areas in Argassi, especially for drinks. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year.

This hotel is situated on the edge of Argassi right on the waters edge . Do not confuse it with the Windmil Hotel its sister hotel some of the previous reviews and photos confuse the two. 1. Location fantastic sound of the waves lapping the shore 2, Staff friendly efficient and welcomingly 3. Facilities Decent sized swimming pool plenty of sunbeds 4. Rooms all have sea views we had a ground floor twin aspect junior suite a very nicely furnished room . Lounge with settee facing the pool private terrace with jacuzzi large shower room and bedroom queen sized bed patio doors leading out to another terrace sea view. 5. Breakfast mixture of European and Greek food plenty of it. All in all a very good hotel.

Windmill bay hotel is a beautiful hotel in the most gorgeous surroundings. When we arrived the lady on reception explained everything we needed to know and was friendly. As we travelled from England we paid taxes on arrival to the hotel at check in. The room was spotlessly clean. Getting a sunbed around the pool was never once an issue and everyone adhered to the not placing towels on the bed at silly o clock in the morning. Breakfast was lots of choice. Cereals, pastries, cheese, meats, fruits, yoghurts, bacon, beans, eggs and mushrooms, tea, coffee, & juices. All the staff in the bar area were friendly. The hotel sits right on the sea front with spectacular views. We just had one negative that our room was on the second floor which are directly above the hot tubs on the ground floor suites. This was awkward when sitting out early evening while getting ready for our night out as you couldn’t help but be in direct eyeline of the people in the hot tubs below. I would certainly have felt even more awkward had it been the other way around and I was in the hot tub with my partner and had people above me looking straight on to us. We were always out around the pool, in the town or on the beach all day and luckily only used the balcony in the evening when getting ready for our night out so this didnt spoil our holiday at all by any means but if you are the type of people who enjoy an evening on the balcony enjoying drinks then I wouldn’t advise staying on the second floor with people in hot tubs below as it’s uncomfortable. We would absolutely return to the beautiful Windmill bay, it’s a luxury feel hotel, the pool is beautiful to swim in whilst looking out to sea. 15 minute walk in to the town. There is a lovely taverna only 5 minutes away that you pass on the way to the town called “come to the grill” absolutely fantastic and would recommend. Thank you windmill bay for our fantastic holiday and we hope to return in the very near future.

We had an amazing stay at the Windmill Bay. Staff all very welcoming & very helpful. Room extremely comfortable & clean with many additional in-room facilities too. Breakfast choice amazing & enjoyable. Awesome pool area with access steps to the sea too. Credit to the hotel that it states clearly to all guests that doesn’t allow sun-bed blocking, which was refreshingly adhered too by guests during our week there. Pool/Sun-bed beach towels are available for a small charge with an additional charge if wishing to change. Quiet location and a 15-20-min walk into centre of Argassi although there are restaurants/bars within a 5-min walk. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting Argassi again, as anywhere else would need to be exceptional in comparison.

Our first time to Argassi and to Celebrate my 60th Birthday we chose this Exceptional Hotel and Upgraded to a Ground floor suite with Jacuzzi (which we made Full use of every evening with a nightcap or 3 😉) The rooms were Beautiful and very luxurious. We had 2 giant tv's but never turned them on. Lovely Nespresso coffee machine with new pods daily. Clean towels every day. Pool towels provided for our lovely comfy sun loungers in out private garden. Very Comfy bed. Nice sofa bed and chair bed in the lounge with Ample storage in a lovely fitted wardrobe complete with Free safe plus an (unused) iron and ironing board. The shower room was massive with a Beautiful rain shower and gawjuss toiletries provided. Excellent Quiet aircon! The staff were So Friendly and very helpful Especially Effie who was involved in the modernisation of the hotel. We stayed in room 103 which had the First rays of sun of the day before anyone else and it lasted almost all day. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices including fresh fruit and fresh baked rolls etc. The restaurant was a delight! We ate here several evenings and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also went to a few restaurants nearby which were Also Very good. I have mobility problems but managed the 15/20 mins stroll to get to them. The pavements are quite narrow though and the traffic was pretty fast going by. The hotel is on a bus route and the bus stop not far from the hotel, we didn't use it though. Sadly no beach as such But for me it was lovely seeing the sea and hearing the waves especially at sunrise before the restaurant opened. Magical place that we are looking to return too in October fingers crossed 🤞

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in total, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is amazing, the staff are fantastic and will do anything to help you. The reception staff are always helpful and even called a taxi for us when needed. Our room was perfect with a powerful shower, comfy bed and daily cleaning. They also provide you with free toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine too use. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaners work very hard to achieve this standard. Breakfast was nice and the location is right on the beach.

Lovely hotel. Food was really good. Staff were very friendly. The rooms were immaculate with fresh towels every day. Not fighting for sunbeds. Would recommend this hotel. Argassi is a great little resort with lots of choice for both bars and restaurants.

The Windmill Bay is a great Hotel. We had a wonderful time. The Hotel is spotless and all the staff are friendly, attentive and professional especially Helen who managed the breakfast and bar area during the day. If we return to zakynthos again it will be to the Windmill Bay.
