The Funky Monkey Hostel

We had the best time at Funky Monkey!! The beds were comfy, the room was nice and cool, and the vibe was great!! All the staff were so friendly and fun to hang out with, we had a great time playing ping pong and drinking at the bar. Facilities were all tiptop and the staff even took us clubbing and to watch the sunset. Definitely coming back next year 🤙

I had a wonderful time at funky monkey hostel! the whole crew sophie, dk, mushir and all the others are doing their absolute best to make you feel as comfortable as possible! nothing is too complicated for them and I really had the feeling they act from their hearts. I absolutely recommend staying with them! the food is great the rooms are clean! 10000 out of 10. hopefully see you very soon!

I stayed at funky monkey's for 3 nights, travelling solo. The place was tucked away off the main roads but super close to the coast. The staff here alone make staying here worth it. Everyone was warm, friendly and attentive if you ever needed anything. The bar there makes great cocktails and the kitchen is open late for both traditional Indian food or western, served up quick and delicious. Will definitely be popping back in the next time I'm in Goa :)

I could easily explore the city and discover its hidden gems without any hassle. The moment I stepped into property, I was greeted with a genuine smile from the friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel like I was part of a big family. They were always available to provide valuable recommendations, assist with any inquiries, and ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms at this property were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The comfortable beds and well-maintained facilities provided me with a peaceful haven after a day of adventures. The attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable. One of the highlights of my stay was the vibrant social atmosphere in this property. The common areas were beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming space to connect with fellow travelers from all around the world. The hostel organized engaging events and activities, allowing me to make lifelong friendships and create unforgettable memories. Last but certainly not least, the breakfast was a delightful experience. The wide variety of options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies, catered to every palate. It was the perfect way to start my day and fuel up for new adventures. If you're looking for a home away from home in Anjuna, Goa, this is the place to be. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed but fun place to stay in Anjuna. It was indeed a wonderful time spent there....!!!!

TFMH is a beautiful experience to have in Goa. Anjuna is a very convenient location for trips to goa and Rohit and Sophie have made sure that this hostel is a very homely stay for all kinds of travellers. Really appreciated the mixed crowd (found some friends to rage with till 9 am) , Akash's dips and Abbotinis, Ara's warm and welcoming smile. Rohit and Sophie are kind and helpful beyond expectations. Every day I felt like I was having table conversations with my own family whenever I had meals at the hostel (which was most of the time) THEIR BURGER IS A MUST TRY! My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable and cozy. Needless to say, everybody went out of their way for multiple things just to make sure I didn't experience discomfort at any point. Louis was also a great talker, he can take you anywhere you want in the taxi! Also, despite drinking cocktails all day, my tab at the hostel was shockingly very very reasonably priced. This was definitely one of my fave solo trips to goa, and I'm always coming back to The Funky Monkey Hostel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The service was excellent and the rooms were cozy and the atmosphere was refreshing. Vijay helped us a lot while booking the room getting a bike for rent and was very welcoming. It's a must visit hostel within the budget.
