Popular hotel, not new and not renovated for years, located in the heart of Amman and opposite the Roman amphitheater, breakfast is acceptable, service is good for the price

This was so affordable but most importantly the staff were amazing and so welcoming. Abraham especially was great and coordinated our early morning taxi and made sure we were fed breakfast even though we were leaving before the dining area was open. Great location and overall a lovely time!

The location is good, close to the Roman Theater and the Amman citadel, on the other hand, taking into account the costs of an uber, the location is not really a strong point. The pictures on Booking are almost real because they do not capture details, namely: the room was full of moisture (and no, we are not fussy). The walls were rotten and the bathroom full of mold. In the room, the air was unbreathable (and no, we don't suffer from asthma, but we instantly had a coughing fit). Let's not talk about the furniture, it would already have been the smallest problem. I asked to change the room and I received one in which you could still breathe, but the sheets did not seem to have been changed since the last use. The windows did not close properly, and smoking is allowed in the hallway and the smoke enters the room. DANGER. I have never given such a rating, but the rating on Booking is the biggest lie. As I said, we are not fussy, but we chose the hotel based on the pictures available on Booking and the reviews left there, and we were not only disappointed by what we found, but shocked.

Excellent customer service! This is a 2 star hotel, so you should not expect luxury or new facilities, but the staff are 5 star. They set up several trips for me outside of Amman that filled my 8 day stay. The hotel manager was always in contact and made sure I was happy with everything. The driver that took me all over Jordan was excellent as well.

It's a really very interesting place They are making a renovation for the room and the entrance The breakfast with omelette 😋 And juice tastes very delicious 🤤 Also the staff are very helpful Their manager can be found everywhere, and this is a nice thing, as he wants to serve you at any time

The pictures you see on their description are not true to reality, the reviews seem to be rigged on *********** and Agoda, looks like the hotel staff get the booking reservation codes to leave nice reviews of their place. Filthy carpet, bed just gave in when I sit on it - I am a small frame and fit woman - bathroom fixtures dirty, not working and outdated, ceiling had gaps. We were asked to cancel our booking with *********** and cannot leave a review there. From now on I am only booking through this website, it seems to carry more accurate reviews as opposed to other ones.

One thing is good in this hotel: the localization, in front of the Roman Theatre. Everything else is VERY DIRTY and old. The room smelled a mix of cigarette and mold with an old carpet that probably has never been cleaned. The sheets and towels apparently haven’t been washed. The bathroom truly smelled sewage. I’m very used to modest hotels and services, but it isn’t the case. I don’t know how *********** and others similar platforms offer Concord Hotel. Don’t trust the rating in *********** because when you are checking out, they ask you to write down and sign your opinion about the hotel in front of them and then question your grade, what is awkward.

Esperienza da dimenticare, sporcizia ovunque, condizionatori pieni di polvere all’inverosimile, bagno sempre allagato, stanze piene di sudiciume e con le lenzuola evidentemente non cambiate prima del nostro arrivo poiché sporche. Comprendo che la struttura sia datata e necessita di urgente ristrutturazione e ammodernamento, capisco pure che sia decisamente economico, ma la pulizia basilare è il minimo che uno si aspetta. Colazione essenziale, ma almeno accettabile, personale gentile ad eccezione del Direttore scorbutico e poco professionale. SCONSIGLIATO STATECI ALLA LARGA.

Prenotato tre notti, arriviamo dopo mezzanotte e già l'ingresso ci fa sorgere qualche dubbio. Sporco e fatiscente. In fase di prenotazione ci avevano convinto le foto. Ci consegnano la camera e arriva la conferma dello schifo in cui siamo stati costretti a dormire, visto l'orario. Moquette lercia, polvere e sporco dappertutto, bagno inqualificabile. Ci lamentiamo e chiediamo un'altra camera. Mi mostrano due camere: la prima dove, non so come mai, c'era del personale che stava uscendo dalla stessa, l'altra sempre lercia con l'aggiunta di una trentina di mosche nella vasca da bagno. Colazione scarsissima sotto tutti gli aspetti.....igiene, freschezza dei prodotti, varietà, ecc. . Consumiamo su un tavolo con una tovaglia di plastica appiccicosa due merendine confezionate ed un the. Al momento di lasciare la topaia il ragazzo della reception ci invita a vedere altre camere, a suo dire, migliori. Paghiamo ed andiamo in un altro hotel che per lo stesso prezzo ci ha soddisfatto sotto tutti aspetti.

L’unica nota positiva di questo posto è la posizione, in pieno centro ad Amman, fronte teatro romano. La struttura è fatiscente, le camere altrettanto. Lenzuola ed asciugamani sporchi, bagno fuori dal mondo. Aria condizionata mai revisionata e mai pulita. Porte delle camere che vengono giù solo a guardarle e tutte storte, con conseguenti aperture. La sala colazione disastrosa, con tovaglie di plastica appiccicose. Non consiglio pernottamento neanche per errore.
