"One of the top hostels I have stayed at. Everyone was incredibly lovely and went out of their way to make our stay really nice, particularly Firas. They are very helpful about organising day trips and transport to other places in Jordan. The hostel is walking distance from the main sites in Amman yet on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, which was nice. The terrace was a lovely place to unwind and meet other travellers in the evening. Overall, Carob Hostel is a wonderful place to stay in Amman, especially if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. We loved it so much that we made sure to come back to Carob for the last night of our trip!"

There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and best of all, the Jett bus stop is within walking distance. It was a little hot because there was no air conditioning or fan, but I was satisfied with the price. Only one cockroach was seen."

Kami tiba di malam hari dan mendapati kamar yang telah kami pesan tidak tersedia. Yang mengejutkan, mereka menawarkan kamar yang sedang dalam perbaikan, berbau cat, dan air bocor di lantai. Mereka menunjukkan kamar-kamar lain kepada kami. Sebagian besar kondisinya sama. Dan perabotannya bernoda, dan dindingnya berjamur. Kami berganti beberapa kamar sampai akhirnya mendapatkan kamar yang lumayan. Saat itu sudah pukul 1 pagi dan dengan anak-anak kami tidak bisa mencari hotel baru. Sungguh mengecewakan. Sarapannya sangat sederhana. Satu-satunya hal positif adalah lokasinya. Ketika kami meminta handuk, kami diberitahu hanya ada satu yang tersedia. Dan jika anak-anak menginginkan sereal tambahan, mereka tidak akan memilikinya lagi. Sayangnya, saya tidak akan merekomendasikan menginap di sini sampai perbaikan besar dilakukan."

"This is a genuinely likeable hotel with a good personal touch and nice attention to guests. I was working in Amman and hosting a training event (in the same hotel) and the customer service from both personal and business perspectives was excellent throughout. The surrounding area is quiet and not particularly attractive but the hotel has ample free parking and a well-appointed reception area. The hotel consists of two large blocks connected by a long corridor. On the 8th floor of the second block is the bar/nightclub which was a tad surreal. The main block has spacious and comfortable bedrooms, somewhat traditionally furnished but with excellent touches such as a welcome pack of food on arrival. The general condition was good if a bit careworn. The cuisine was really fine. Breakfast was extensive and really delicious with fresh omelettes and eggs plus a great range of hotel dishes. Fruit availability could be more extensive. Breakfast is served in a huge atrium with a large swimming pool that was a delightful feature - everything light and enhanced by the flowing water. Service throughout was warm and highly professional. This hotel makes a huge effort and this is greatly to be appreciated. On the downside is the pervasive smoking and lack of smoke free zones (including bedrooms) - quite unacceptable in these days. Apart from that, a reliable and professional hotel that ticks most boxes well"

"I had an issue with the in-room refrigerator not working, and I had medications that needed to be stored at the reception and retrieved upon request. Moreover, some staff members, especially Ahmed, were moody and very impolite. After I filed a complaint with the management, the exemplary employee Jihan, with her excellent manners and professionalism, saved the day by providing us with a working refrigerator in the room. Also, whenever food was brought in, we had to sign for it every time without any published policy or explanation. The staff deserves intensive training in professional customer service. I will repeat the experience with their respectable hotel chain and because of Jihan's excellent service."

"I arrived really early in the morning (around 2am) and they made the check-in easy with the instructions they provided before my arrival. The definitely go above and beyond. All of the staff are friendly and really helpful. The location is great, it's just a short walk over to some of the sites. There's a great view from the rooftop and there's a more chill patio in the back where the restaurant is. After booking with them, they send you a link so you can book tours/activities through their website."
