Family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners. Our bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, clean and practical with lots of storage space. One of the best continental breakfasts we ever had. Excellent location for the town and pier. Quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived on tueasday got here 2 hours early luck would have it my room was ready the owners the staff were excellent couldnt do enough for us our room was spotless bed comfy bathroom was gorgeous brathay Lodge is situated in the perfect spot all amenities close by I will definitely be coming back after our welcome thanks to all for a wonderful stay

Great position, plenty of parking (although you may need to pay extra for this). Myself and a colleague shared a good size room, super comfy beds, great bathroom with large shower and good buffet continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again for sure.

Room was clean, breakfast not worth £12.00, places in Ambleside that serve a great full English breakfast for £13.00. Manager was rude, accosted me on the final morning with a curt request as wether a car in the car park was mine. Would not recommend this hotel, interior decor feels very institutional.

The hosts were fantastic in working around our timetable as we needed to park early but arrived back late after a very long run. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was also very tasty, with plenty of it for everyone to enjoy. Thank you.

Very nice, clean and modern rooms. Down side is there is no lift however not too tiring going up and down a few floors. Breakfast was of a decent standard. Would have liked fried or scrambled eggs as an option not only boiled. Other than that, location was brilliant and the staff friendly and accommodating.

Excellent stay once again always feel so very welcome by Trevor Carol & the team Rooms were spotless and love the recently renovated bathroom The rooms are brilliant for our family and offer a great space for the dogs - even doggy treat bags left The tea and coffee facilities are great and much appreciated after a full day on the fells. Lovely space to sit outside the rooms and socialise m. The sunshine this weekend an added bonus

It was wonderful. Parking and location absolutely spot on. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Continental breakfast was second to none and the WiFi was excellent. My room was spotless and warm and there was plenty tea and coffee. I will be back!!

Had amazing time here. Breakfast was delicious, the lodge was very clean and tidy, the owner was very friendly easy to approach and was very helpful. Went out of there way to make sure our stay was good. Will be coming back to stay. Thank you for a wonderful time.
