First let me say the front desk staff and maintenance were amazing!!!! They were friendly, accommodating and efficient. The housekeeping staff - not so much! I was booked for 2 weeks and the first night I checked in… a dirty washcloth was left in the bathroom, the iron would blink on and off causing them to give me a very old iron, housekeeping left trash in my room which eventually made me say I’ll clean myself! Checked out a day early and the front desk recommended talking to the manager which was a waste as she was not interested or engaged. Told me that she needed to know when things happened and I let her know I reported daily! This hotel was renovating which was another disappointment (but I could deal with that… as they made the best of a bad situation)… this hotel did not feel like a Marriott.. it felt like a motel off Route 66… housekeeping is crippling this hotel and the lack of empathy from management …. Bonvoy points doesn’t solve every issue!
