Las Casas del Chorro

The good: Nice location in the hills. Feels like a rental cottage. Some supplies are provided. The bad: Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Biggest problem I had was 4 days of trying to make a credit card payment with the link provided by the management firm. After many days without responses from the managers I finally made the payment using an alternate method the day before I had to check in. I was facing forfeiture of the total booking amount due to lack of payment but the problem was not me - it was the managers of the property. The managers seem disorganized and inflexible. It is quite difficult to deal with this kind of issue while you are already travelling. Would give this property a pass due to this problem alone.

Attention to detail by the manager is excellent!!! The house is beautiful, quiet, at a perfect place down in the Agulo ravine. If you fancy a pretty isolated area where to rest, come here. I'll be back for sure!!!

Very nice rural hotel with all equipment you need - fireplace, kitchen, terrace, sunbeds, campfire, grill etc. Definitely recommended.

Wow!! First of all, the island of La Gomera is absolutely gorgeous, the landscape and scenery really blew my mind and I’m already planning another visit to the island. I couldn’t recommend visiting La Gomera more highly. The apar**ents at Las Casas Del Chorro were so quaint, relatively remote and absolutely beautiful. Finding it was easy and the staff were lovely, keeping in contact and handing over keys, showing us around etc was very smooth. I stayed here for 4 days for a birthday trip and the staff really kindly provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a little note to wish me happy birthday, this was such a nice gesture. Not only that but the staff also text me on my birthday to wish me many happy returns! They were so helpful and very accommodating. The apar**ent came with a small hob if you wanted to cook, plenty of crockery and they even gave us a little welcome pack with coffee, milk and bread! The apar**ent had a TV which was handy for the evenings to help us wind down, the bedrooms came with plenty of blankets (it got chilly in the evenings), there was plenty of storage, the bathroom facilities were great, everything was so clean and the view was amazing!! We felt very lucky to stay here and even more so by the fact it is so close to the town of Agulo which was beautiful. The apar**ents are next to Mirador De Abrante, one of the many lookout points (highly recommend). If you do stay here, you won’t regret it!!

Au calme, très bien équipé, tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour ressourssant. C'est la 1ere fois que nous voyons une location aussi propre, c'était top ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour là.

Perfecto para desconectar, complejo muy tranquilo y muy bien cuidado en medio de la naturaleza. Camas muy cómodas y muy buen servicio.

Visitamos estas casas a través de verlas en Instagram, y la verdad que no defraudaron. Nada más llegar nos atendió Karina, super atenta y servicial, encantados con ella. Las casas están servidas con todo detalle, y tuvieron la cortesía de dejar unos panes, leche, café, tés...vamos un lujo. El entorno es brutal, cerca de una presa y a 10' caminando del mirador de Abrante. Se presta para un turismo activo de trail running senderismo etc...cuando volvamos va a ser así, no merece la pena salir muy lejos de las casas, una por la cantidad de curvas y distancia con otros pueblos y otra porque no se disfruta la casa. Super recomendadas
