The Taj Pearl Hotel

Outside the city center, in a fairly quiet place - street food and some shops outside. Checkin was fine, we had booked three rooms and were able to change one (big window with a view of a wall). Rooms were fairly clean and new, quite comfortable. Small minibar fridge. A/c worked well, wifi worked well. Storage space was OK, cupboard and a couple of drawers. Nice big windows. Bathrooms are not good. Some design flaw causes water to flow all over the bathroom floor every time you shower (regular Indian bathroom – no separated shower area). Water pressure was sometimes weak, hot water sometimes lukewarm. The rooftop pool is a nice touch. Tiny (6m x 6m ?) with only ¾ loungers, the hotel provides towels and you get a nice view of the area. Pool is reasonable clean. Had breakfast in the hotel restaurant once, but was not impressed. Fans only, no a/c – the room was hot. The buffet was OK, but not overly so. Some of the rooms had good yellow lighting, a couple had harsh white lights. Storage space was a little lacking.

In this cost i got very good hotel. Staff are very cooperative pool area is amazing. Room was very clean

Stay is good. The rooms are cozy and clean. Staff is welcoming and very courteous. The food is excellent and the service is very good. The hotel could improve on providing complementary stuff in rooms like dental kits, mineral water, etc. The plumbing in bathrooms can be improved. The shower head was jammed due to scaling. Taps and fittings could be cleaner. There could be a glass partition between the bathing area and other bathroom spaces. Otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Location of the property is away from noise which i like. It was a good and nice stay. Food was good. Well i forget a sweatshirt in the room. It will be of great help if you can courier it to me. I will pay for the same.

Good cooperative behaviour of all staff. Jeetendra was very helpful.This was my first stay in Agra after 40 years and second reunion 04- 05 Dec. First reunion was in Clarks Shiraz 01-03 Dec. Food quality was comparable. Best wishes.
