Achtis Hotel

Being a pretty novice holiday maker myself, wasn’t a problem with Achtis. From the minute you pass through the airport, the private transfer (booked through the hotels website) was efficient and luxurious. When you arrive you feel as though you’ve entered a boutique oasis. From the beautifully decorated and immaculately well kept pool area to the gorgeous and tasteful bedrooms. This place is an absolute gem in Greece. Not to mention the warmest and kindest welcome from each and every member of staff which continued on for the entire duration of the stay. The hotel is a stones throw from the local village which is pretty, quiet and a real locals sort of place, and is home to one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. We booked the buffet breakfast which was a well presented, vast array of world foods. There was definitely something for every guest. Feeling hot by the pool? The friendly staff will bring drinks or food right to you at your subbed and with a free smile every time. And the evening dinners served at this Achtis hotel restaurant is a romantic dream for a couple, with phenomenal food and incredibly fast and friendly service. If you are looking for a quiet, traditional, luxurious, homely, tasteful and bliss slice of Greek sunshine and hospitality, this is the place you need to stay.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds and rooms tastefully decorated. Pool area is lovely, nice sun beds and lounge areas to sit. Pretty gardens surround the pool with wild life and resident peacock. Entire hotel is spotless, staff are so welcoming and helpful. Happy to help book trips and taxis as needed. They really work hard to make sure your stay is special. Lots of guests were returning as they love the hotel. The local town is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of lovely places to eat, have a drink and shop. The beaches are stunning, and about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I would definately go back, great place to relax but also lots todo.

This was our first visit to the Achtis Hotel and from arrival to leaving we were treated like a part of the family by every member of staff. The nicest staff I have come across, all of whom had a positive and friendly attitude. The breakfasts were varied and delicious and the cook was proud of what they served up each day. Also, the Aperol Spritz were one of the best we found and reasonable at €8. I found the mixture of pool/gardens very nice too and the entire stay was relaxing. One minor point would be the gym opening up earlier. Personally, I would prefer to use the gym before breakfast but it currently opens at 9am which I feel is too late when breakfast stops at 10am.

We had a truly magical holiday at the very unique Achtis Hotel. It’s almost like being welcomed into a family home. Everything is five star, Lilia is one of the nicest people on the plant and every member of staff do their utmost to make everything perfect. It’s so tranquil and relaxing. Food and cocktails superb. In fact we enjoyed it so much we booked whilst there to return again next year.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Achtis Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. What an oasis of luxury and tranquility ! Lilia and the team were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We'd thoroughly recommended the hotel !

Beautiful hotel with fabulous service. Breakfast was lovely, very fresh and fantastic choice of food. The service around the pool was very good with fab cocktails and homemade cake if you ordered tea or coffee. Pool and gardens have lots of sitting areas and shade with comfy beds and furniture. The rooms are clean, our room could have done with extra storage, maybe drawer unit in bedroom and in bathroom, nowhere to keep your toiletry bag. Beds and towels changed everyday which although nice maybe not planet friendly. Short walk to Afitos which is a very nice town with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Not too far to beach, bed hire a bit pricey.
