Eden Vale Hotel

The overall experience was quite good. The customer service is top-notch, and the food was satisfactory. The location, about 30 minutes from Kotoka International Airport, could be better. Nonetheless, I had a wholesome experience overall.

The staff are kind, helpful, and speak English very well. The dining room is a windowless room with a ceiling fan and AC, but neither were turned on. After a half hour we were melting. Had to find someone and ask them to turn on fan and AC. The food took a very long time to prepare. All we ordered was fried chicken and chips (french fries). Nobody came back to find out if we needed anything. The next morning someone called me at 7 am to find out what I wanted for breakfast. I said only toast and coffee. When I arrived in the dining room, a surly girl brought a plate with toast sitting on a pile of greasy "omlet" egg with tomato and onion fried in it. I asked her to remove the egg. She said I am coming, and left the room. She never came back. The toast had no jam or butter, just dry toast. I picked up the top piece, but it was on top of a fried sausage of some kind, which I did not ask for. So I finished my coffee (Nescafe) and left. Nobody ever came back to remove the toast from the egg. When I saw the sausage, I did not want the toast either as it was sitting on top of the sausage. Really, this was disgusting. The staff did not ask me if I wanted it. The only other issue was the shower stall in my bathroom leaked a lot from the bottom, filling the whole floor with water. I had to ask for a bath mat, and the front desk man had to look for one. He was very kind and pleasant and finally brought me 2, Just as well, as I needed them to mop up the floor. Maintenance!

Had a great stay. Stayed for 9 nights. Would recommend it to others or go back myself. A little far from other places I went, But bolt Takes you there fast and very cheap. Very nice employees and service

I last stayed here in 2018. Maintenance seems to have a lower priority. Lights and one double power socket not working . An extension lead trailing across the floor was the solution, trip hazard not seemingly a concern! No shower curtain meant the bathroom floor got quite wet each time, and without a bath mat to step on, quite slippery too. Also the kettle was at least 10 feet from the nearest power point so furniture placement needs a rethink to make this work. Room was superficially clean. Staff at reception helpful and pick up from airport is valued. I didn't take the breakfast as evaporated milk in my instant coffee is not an attractive idea!

The staff was very good, the hotel is far from everything and very hard to get to, unpacked roads.

We booked into this hotel at last minute because the one I’d booked to stay in was horrendous! I was coming over from the UK to spend a couple of weeks with my family here. We managed one night at the old hotel and the found this place. They had 2 rooms and we checked in. So friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them. Lovely rooms and very clean. This is definitely going to be my base for my next trip to Ghana. Highly recommend Eden Vale, many thanks to all the staff.

My mum stayed at Edenvale for 10 days and spoke very highly of the hotel. Special mention to Maame and Amos as well as the rest of the staff who treated her so well and went above and beyond to make her stay wonderful. Thank you so much for your hospitality and hard work.
