Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara Natural Hot Spring
4.7/5419 Reviews
Very nice hotel, but service is not OK. Maybe I should say”bad”. We booked 1 room with 3 beds for 3 people, due to the booking system could input only 2 names, we have 1 person’s name missing. The 2 ladies in the front desk of the hotel told that we need to pay extra JPN 3900 for the additional bed. Or, we could only have 2 beds for 3 people. I said no, because it’s included in the room charge, we paid already. The ladies have no will to help us to solve the problem, but very interested in charging more. Try to imagine, will 2 people book 3 beds room for 2 beds? why don’t people book a same type standard room to save some money? Please contact with your agent to fix your booking system. Finally a gentleman of the hotel helped to negotiate, and we could live here. The room is really nice and clean. But the service is the worst I’ve ever seen in Japan.

Location:2 minutes walking distance from the station to the hotel-perfect!The front entrance has a beautifully designed layout. Cleanness: The hotel maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness, and a comfortable and hygienic environment. Service: The front desk's English is excellent, much better than most I've encountered in Tokyo and Osaka. The instructions are clear and well-explained. Facilities: Everything from the room to the dining options was exceptional, making my stay very enjoyable. The Japanese-style room made my stay cozy and relaxing. Overall: I would give 10 out 10 and recommend it to every one.
Super Hotel Premier Jr Nara Eki
4.7/5220 Reviews
The hotel is next to JR Nara Station, and there are buses to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. The transportation is very convenient. There are 2 hot spring pools, one of which can be ventilated outdoors, and the feeling is also good. The most important thing is that the price is affordable. If you come to Nara, it is worth staying. The triple room has upper and lower bunks, and there is enough space. There are also many izakayas near the train station hotel. In addition, you can drink for free in the hotel bar before 21:00, and you can even buy octopus balls downstairs and bring them up to eat. (The hotel welcomes food)
Ryokan Asukasou at the Entrancne of Nara Park

The room is very nice, new and big, the service is very good, and they try their best to meet the requirements. My family can't eat seafood in the morning, so I just asked if the breakfast is a fixed menu and whether the dishes can be changed, because the previous hotel I stayed in couldn't change it, so I didn't have much hope, but the staff has been trying their best to help change it, thank you very much. The TV in the room can adjust the language, and you can see the real-time number of people using the hot spring, these functions are great. The toiletries in the room are also very good. I arrived early to store my luggage, and when I came back in the evening, the luggage was already in the room, and the heater was turned on in advance, which was a good experience. The only drawback is that I booked a room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but I didn't know that the five-story pagoda was under repair until I arrived. In addition, the sound insulation in the room is a bit insufficient, and I can hear the voices next door and the children outside. I will stay here again when I come to Nara in the future.
Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara
4.7/557 Reviews
The hotel has a very Japanese style, the design is very beautiful, the stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The reception staff were very considerate from check-in to check-out. It is recommended to check in early to enjoy the hotel service and atmosphere. If you are walking from Kintetsu Nara Station to the hotel while pushing your luggage, there is a section of rough road that may make it difficult to push your luggage. You may consider taking a taxi, which takes about 5 minutes. The hotel is very close to Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, and Nara Museum, and it is very convenient to go to attractions.
Shigisan Kanko Hotel

Idealy located to visit Shigisan, a 5min walk from the entrance ! A very pleasant Onsen (indoor and Outdoor) is in the hotel. Note however that they don't serve diner and all restaurants are closed in the evening, so make sure you plan accordingly !

The location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.
Kasuga Hotel

A small hotel, right next to Kintetsu Nara Station, not too close, with Nara Park behind it. The lobby is small, but drinks are free, I have to drink several times a day. It is an old building, well maintained. Except that you can't order private soup, there is nothing wrong with it. The staff is also very professional and efficient. I was given a room in the middle of the top floor. The location should be the best. P.S. The breakfast is very exquisite. I didn't order dinner. Next to the hotel is the station restaurant street, which has all kinds of food.
Fufu Nara

It was our first family trip in a long time. It was a great way to unwind from our busy schedules. The room was spacious and the hot springs were great. It was a quiet room, so my daughter and I were able to talk about various things. The food was delicious and we had a variety of seasonal dishes. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed Nara at our own pace.
Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara

It's very good, very gorgeous, and the receptionist is polite. However, there were many people on the day I checked in, and there were no parking spaces. One thing to note is that the train station is next to it. There are trains in the morning and evening, but I just like to see Japanese trains. Give this hotel full marks
