I definitely recommend this hostel! I booked a ten people room because I wanted enough space to leave my suitcase on the floor. At first I was unsure whether that's too many people in one room, but everything is so big and clean, I prefer this over other hostels I've been in! Overall the hostel is very clean and they have great accommodation. There is a big common area (sometimes a bit loud though) where they even have live music sometimes. They also have a quieter reading room. The bathroom and showerroom are very clean and spacious. Another great thing is the reception. They are all very friendly and fluent in English! When I wanted to add one more night, Cindy was so nice and booked it for me in less than 2 minutes! The only thing that could be better is the ventilation in rooms. In my room the air felt a bit ”stuffy” sometimes. I also had some problems with the WiFi in the common room area, at times it was very slow. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in Xi'An for a while! Because I had such a great experience here, I also booked the Desti hostel in Chengdu for my next travel.

I stayed here a total of 4 nights: I booked forst 3 days, but then for a delay I added one more night. Overall, it was a nice place: the room was clean, the location was convenient (I could go to the center of the town in 10 minutes) and the amenities were good. However, I found that the towel was a little bit small and the absence of an elevators made difficult to move with the luggage. It was also a little bit hard to find the entrance, but the kindness of the staff helped me a lot. In general, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying a few days in Xi'An and you need to quickly see the walls, the bell drum and the Muslim quarters because of its price and position. Overall, I had a good experience and I slept well, so I think it deserve the maximum.

Virtually a legit 5/5. The 7th floor roof terrace is very nice indeed. The bathrooms were clean, equipped with Western toilets and tissue paper was provided, as was shampoo and body wash. Each bed had a curtain, internal outlet and foldable table and clothes peg, plus lockers were provided, which can be opened with a fob key. Reception is 24 hours. Slippers are also provided and there is a mini shop downstairs and a small kitchenette with hot water for noodles and drinks. Laundry is also available. The only slight negatives are that all 7 floors are accessed only by 1 elevator and the reception area absolutely stinks of cigarettes due to chain smokers.

The hotel is good and is located Inside the walls very good location. The toilet and room are not so clean though but the common areas are nice with a good rooftop.

Tiny Spots Youth Hostel is a small and comfortable place conveniently located conveniently located in the city center, a few steps away from the Sports Center subway station along the Red line. Just 500meters away is the Small Pagoda. From the 21st floor, where the backpackers place is at, one can have views of the Drum Tower 钟楼 , the small pagoda, the Shaanxi Historical Museum and other views of the Tao Gu area. As soon as I got inside the backpackers place, I felt comfortable with the spaciousness and tidiness. A decently large living room sits various furnitures, ensuring space for backpackers who want to watch the television, play video games, or just lounge around on the sofa. There are also working spaces for those who wish to find a place to use the laptop or read. Soft music can be heard filling the place. Water is free for all; snacks, tea and coffee are also available for all. There is adequate space in the large fridge for those who wish to store their food. Although the kitchen is not available to be used, they do offer a microwave to heat up food. The rooms are clean and sparsely furnished. On my first night, i got a bunk in a room that had no windows, but the front desk staff initiated a bunk at another room that has a large window with better ventilation. I was pleased with his promptness. I stayed for two nights at this place. Cleanliness is top notched. A.cleaner woman is usually there in the day for routine and prompt cleaning. Toilet tissue is always in ready supply. Bathrooms and toilet cubicles are shared among the genders. I thought it was gonna be a problem, but my concerns were unfounded. Guests were all respectful, cordial and help keep the place clean. The hostel is owned and designed by a warm and friendly local, Mr Ba, who is there most times to welcome the guests and to supervise. He was a gracious host who made me feel welcome and gave me some local knowledge about this beautiful amcient city. Overall, I can't say enough how thankful I am with my stay here. Convenient location, clean, safe, relaxing, welcoming... I highly recommend this place.

The problem is just the cleanliness, the toilet is really messy and nasty, but the rooms are nice, clean bed sheets , no stinky smell on the pillows or anything which makes a balance with the poor hygiene, the boss was really helpful, he's on alert whenever you need something, there is no noise or anything that bothers at night besides the smoke smell in some spots close to the rooms because they secretly smoke.the motel is in a good location, not so far from muslim street and stuff and ofc it was worth the experience especially if you're staying just for a night or two , i don't recommend more

It's close to the Bell Tower and the Huimin Street, so it's convenient for sightseeing. There are cheap supermarkets and many restaurants for locals nearby, so you won't have any problems. The staff are friendly and will welcome you warmly.

I don’t advise international travellers to stay in this hostel. it’s not a typical hostel in the American/European sense. It’s a hostel for local students, etc. You won’t be able to communicate in English and make friends here. There is no kitchen, communal spaces are shabby, overall hostel interior is dark and more rugged. I booked a separate room with double bed for 4 nights, but I didn’t sleep even one night there. The advantages are central location, friendly and helpful staff (even though they don’t speak English), big and clean bed, clean curtains. The disadvantages prevailed though. The place smells bad: the kitchen area smells of cigarettes because it’s allowed to smoke inside, the corridor smells of fish, my room smelt of dampness and mold. The room was shabby and ragged, dirt spots on the walls, hairs on the toilet seat, stained mirrors, horrible old shower curtain with stains of black mold. Overall not a nice place to stay in.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. First of all the service was really great. When I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a room that was already occupied, but when I said about the problem they immediately change the room and I got ar upgrade without paying any extra cost. As for the room, it was very clean and the amenities were very useful. Also the toilets were clean and there were both squat and sitting ones. The location was also quite convenient, as it was next to the Da Tang Mal, so the night was very lively. The only con is that the metro station was little bit far (around ten minutes by foot), but overall it was easy to find the hotel even for a non-chinese-speaker like me In conclusion, I would advise this hotel if you come to XiAn, as my stay here was really great

Nice welcome in English by the owner (the woman, her husband doesn't seem to speak english) with explanation about hua shan. They have a nice map in English for 10 yuan, and decent coffee (China style) for the same price. Great wifi connexion. Not the most comfortable hostel I've visited in China (room is a bit small and no curtains on the beds), could get a bit unconfortable if the room is full. But it's really appropriate for the price.

first check in experience was fast and friendly. the family running it are helpful, the rooms are clean,everything works fine. the bed was comfy too. there a supermarket downstairs and more options just a few hundret meters east with more shops and restaurants. generally that location is a bit off, but convenient for taking the train. 2nd part of the checkin process was the police showing up, asking for my passport, as they were not familiar with my permanent resident card. the talk was done within five minutes, leaving them empty handed. this had nothing to do with the hotel, so I'd still recommend it if this location is on your route/you want to get to the nearby station.
