The room was clean and next day got serviced but bed was not made. Bed was finally made after my 3rd night. The gate to the shop was locked even during the day. Noticed unlocked in morning and around 1pm locked. Was quiet and overall very private. Need a sign if not wanting a service. Do not disturb sign and flip over to please service. Lost my phone pulling out of there. Tracked it to nearby Baptist church. Phone was there Saturday just after 2pm possible cleaner found it. Has alot of irreplaceable memories. Asked office if my phone was handed in but alas English language issues.

Outstanding venue with incredibly attentive service. We didn't eat in for dinner so cannot comment but breakfast was lovely with remarkable views.  Maybe an a la carte option for breakfast would have mad ir perfect.

This was our third stay at the Great Ponsonby Hotel. Excellent hotel. The location is great. We enjoy checking out the shops, restaurants and bars on Ponsonby Road. Auckland CBD is an easy walk.

Nice stop off whilst travelling the North Island . Walked to nearby restaurant on the river . Place had all we needed . Host was kind & welcoming . Lovely pool & nice hot tub ! Thanks :)

There was no holder for soap, bottles in shower. The towel rail was coming off the wall. There were no window latches that worked. Other quiet, but a hot room which had a fan
