I booked this location for a real “British Experience.” Although I don’t know if it was a real experience, it was a REAL experience. From the moment the car arrived, I was impressed and in love. It is a true country estate, surrounded by green rolling hills and ancient trees. The first view down the driveway was of a stunning estate with beautifully landscaped grounds. We arrived early and they were able to register us immediately. The only downside was the number of stairs to get to the room, but this was minimal. The interior was breathtaking, the outside was awe inspiring. We had originally planned on taking a day to go to London, but quickly decided to stay and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the estate. The food was wonderful but the breakfast hours were not as noted. On Saturday, we arrived at 10:30 for breakfast and the buffet was nearly empty, however the staff were kind enough to bring us the few things we needed. The staff were wonderful and added to the exceptional experience of our stay. I will definitely revisit this location in the future. It was a lovely experience.

I was staying at the hotel due to an important business meeting the next day, unfortunately my sleep was broken at 2am with a fire alarm going off due to other hotel guests, I was expecting some kind of kind refund or a discount off my next stay as I have used this hotel to stay for business many times before but nothing was offered and the interruption in my sleep affected my business meeting the next day, very disappointed in the way this was handled.

Memilih hotel ini karena sangat dekat dengan Terminal Gatwick Utara, hanya berjarak 2 menit berjalan kaki.
Saya check in dan pertama kali diberi kamar, saya masuk dan kamarnya sama sekali tidak dibersihkan, handuk berserakan di lantai, tempat tidur tidak dirapikan, dan botol-botol dibuka di atas meja. Saya kembali ke resepsionis dan mereka sangat baik dan meminta maaf, mereka dengan ramah memberi tahu saya bahwa mereka telah meng-upgrade kamar saya dan meminta maaf atas ketidaknyamanannya. Kamar baru yang saya dapatkan tampak sangat mirip dengan kamar yang saya bayar, tidak yakin apa saja upgrade-nya, tetapi setidaknya kamarnya bersih kali ini.
Dari segi harga, harganya memang sangat mahal, tetapi kebersihan hotel ini kurang, tetapi lokasinya terbayar. Saya mungkin akan menghemat uang saya lain kali dan menginap di Premier Inn di seberang jalan.

Brilliant location, only 5 minutes by bus from/to Gatwick Airport with a bus stop located outside the Guest House. My flight arrived after midnight, but after calling them 24 hours in advance, letting them know they left my room keys in a safe place. Very well informed of how to get there. It's a family run business, and they do care about their customers! Opted in for a continental breakfast, and I was also offered a homemade cake for free!
The place does show its signs of age and will definitely benefit from having a renovation. But otherwise, everything else was fantastic!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Hampton by Hilton Gatwick. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and eager to help — check-in was fast and seamless. The room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given how close the hotel is to the terminal.
The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the powerful shower, great lighting, and plenty of charging points. The complimentary breakfast was excellent too — lots of choice, fresh food, and great coffee to start the day right before my flight.
The location couldn’t be better — it’s directly connected to the North Terminal, making it perfect for early flights or late arrivals. Despite being an airport hotel, it felt calm and relaxing, which made all the difference.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Top-notch service, comfort, and convenience — Hampton by Hilton Gatwick truly sets the standard for airport hotels!

The place is spacious and cozy, with a modern design. The bathroom is quite large and includes a handrail next to the toilet, which is very suitable for elderly residents who need assistance. The bedroom is equipped with several call bells that allow residents to easily seek help from staff if they feel unwell — a thoughtful feature for the elderly. The bed is soft.

Lovely hotel, the location is great as it is a few minutes away from the shopping centre. Me and my husband came for a weekend away and we loved that we could just walk to the shops. The kfc and McDonald’s is a few minutes away too. The room itself was nice, it had the usual stuff, iron, tea and coffee etc. The bathtub was super small, if you are plus size, you will struggle to lay in the bath but it’s not a big problem. The staff were very friendly, we even got given a cookie upon arrival and they kindly gave us a complimentary 1 hour free extra time for check out (we paid £20 for the rest of the hours). Overall a lovely hotel.

The hotel was more than happy to heat up my food, good breakfast and having air conditioning which were really nice thing about this hotel.Unfortunately there were some problems such as the room card disabling each day due to it being sensitive to mobile phones and forgetting to give me, my wife and daughter’s 3 sets of towels.

TTamuLovely hotel. Perfect location for races but also nice if not. Beautiful scenery and very quiet.
Parking easy with lots of space.
We were able to check in early which was great before the racing started. Bar area very nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff very attentive.
Room was very nice in the 2nd floor facing the golf course, so fabulous View. Very clean. Beds very comfortable and the bedding top quality with the best pillows ever. Toiletries are good quality with a long lasting smell on your skin. Towels greasy , white and fluffy. We had large windows like patio doors so could open wide. Only issue was the outside bar ( was no balcony) had loads of covert and dead insects in it.
Breakfast. The dining room again had a very relaxing atmosphere was bright and very clean. The food options were plentiful and of good quality and quantity. Coffee from a machine , but used fresh ground coffee , beans when choosing you options.
The bar prices were quite good, didn’t feel I was being over charged and the bar staff were quick and efficient.
Overall a superb stay.

One of the standout highlights was the spa. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was tranquil—perfect for unwinding. The pool area was spotless, and the treatments were first-class, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Dining at the hotel was also a fantastic experience. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with a smile. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in the quality of their service.
Overall, I’m delighted to say that Voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa has more than redeemed itself in my eyes. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!
