Hotel Lero Hotel Lero was a great choice during my time in Dubrovnik. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff were welcoming, and the breakfast had a nice variety. It’s a short walk or quick drive to both the Old Town and the boat port, which made getting around really easy. Would happily stay again!

The hotel reached out to confirm when we were leaving the airport as they are not staffed all times. We provided updates but there was some miscommunication when I said the shuttle bus arrived at the airport around 3 pm so she could gauge when we would get to Old Town. When we finally arrived in old town via the shuttle bus 40 minutes later and got to the hotel, Anamaria seemed a slight bit pass ag as she thought I meant the bus arrived at Old town and took longer than expected. Nethertheless she was there to give us the keys and we were able to get into the room. There was no lift to the room so it makes luggage a bit difficult, but manageable. The room was modern but very marbly and was comfortable. At night the noise from the hallway was a bit loud on the first floor as the stairs creaks and there is extremely bright hallway lights coming into the room from the hallway. I suggest earplugs and night mask. The location was incredible right in the heart of Old Town and checking out was very easy.

The room is very good and the landlord is very nice. The location is in the old city, very convenient, it is recommended to live here, you can see the old city at night after playing during the day. Remember to download whats app, the landlord will contact you on it, the check-in process and positioning are very clear.

Hotel location is good. The bus stop is just next to the hotel and takes only 10 minutes by bus to the old city wall. Staff at the front desk are friendly and they'll give you directions wherever we want to go.

My trip to Croatia before this apartment was abysmal, but the apartment completely changed my mood and trip in general. People including the owner of the property are so helpful, and the status of the room was fantastic. Everything is so organized and clean. The best room in the area!

Nice hotel with small kitchen. Besides stairs a bit steep, to be careful while walking up the stairs (and carry luggage), others are fine. Great location, can enter through Ploce gate to avoid the long stairs down to hotel. Great breakfast set served in room. Baby cot available upon request

It's less than a 10 minute drive from the old town, and it was about 7€ with Uber. There's nothing nearby and it's on a hill, so it was a bit difficult to get there from the port with a suitcase. The room was clean and perfect, the breakfast service was good, and the contents were satisfactory.

SSharon AmandaThis is a really nice budget hotel, located in Lapad, away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, and close to the beach. We had a large room with an extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a terrace/balcony. I thought it was a great idea to have clothes drying racks on the balconies, perfect for your beach towels & swimsuits. We had the breakfast, and it was pretty much the same every day. But even for us vegans, we could get something nice to eat. And for people with no dietary restrictions, there is even more choice. Our shower was faulty, which we reported to staff on our first morning. As it was the weekend, they advised that it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately, but by Tuesday we had a brand new shower head (the shower was usable, just faulty - we didn't have to exist without a shower!) The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, and gave good tips about the beaches and surrounding area. There is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, where you can catch Bus 6 to the old town. The buses are small and very busy (September) and the cost is 2.50 euro one way. We did also buy tickets in advance from the kiosk in the town, where they are a little cheaper (1.70). And I must admit, we walked to the old town on several occasions. 30 minute walk, but with beautiful views. The beaches close by are lovely. There is a great walking path along the coast, and at some spots you can walk down stone steps to small seating areas, where you can also jump into the ocean and swim. We did this instead of going to the pebble beaches and hiring sun loungers. Overall, this was a really nice hotel, perfect for what we wanted. It is not high end, glam or luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and friendly.

BBo hyeWe booked the Vis Hotel, but due to technical issues, we were assigned to a different hotel. From what I've seen on Google reviews, this seems to happen quite often. We ended up staying at the Komodor Hotel. The hotels around there are all in the same community, so if there's a problem with one hotel, they'll move you to another hotel. The hotel was located right in front of the bus stop, so it was easy to get to Old Town, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the hairdryer was very weak and old. If you need a hairdryer, you should bring your own.

SSeat 2AAlthough this hotel is situated quite some distance from the Old Town this is not a bad thing at all. Insect I very much appreciated being removed from the thick crowds and noise, and very much enjoyed the peace and tranquility and spectacular sea views from this wonderful resort. Definitely worth paying extra for a c facing room, for breathtaking panoramas day and night. My room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, with ample space for everything although a luggage rack or designated space for luggage would enhance overall comfort greatly. Staff were generally helpful and polite, with special mention to Matija the Restaurant Manager, who, despite handling large volumes of customers, remained unfailingly cheerful and energetic. The breakfast buffet was very generous by European standards, whilst the dinner buffet selection was also more than adequate and quite good value at 35 Euros per person. As mentioned in previous reviews, a bus connects the Babin Kuk area (where the Royal Ariston and her neighboring sister hotels, the Royal Princess, Royal Blue, Royal Palm and Neptun are situated) to the Old Town. If you purchase the 40 Euro Dubrovnik City pass, discovers one day worth of this bus travel plus access to the city walls and its museums. Cannot recommend this resort highly enough and look forward to my return.

GGuest UserAbsolutely a wonderful hotel all around. The buffet breakfast was extraordinary with so much to offer. What is exceptional about this property that I learned once we got there was how they have an Asian spa version of rooms in their spa. They have a salt room, steam room, igloo room, a turkish bath, indoor pool, warm pool, cold pool, rainforest shower ... we went to the pool and in the sea off the cliffs everyday and it was just wonderful. At night they had live entertainment. One of the best hotels in the wrold!

GGuest UserA Great place to stay. We were pleasantly suprised by the access to 6 different pools on arrival to our hotel including 1 on the rooftop. The amenities were so good. There was a lovely gym, spa on site also with access to all. Breakfast was great each morning. The location was perfect, right on the bay with great views, and the perfect view of the sunset each night. There was a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away, which was just a €2 trip to Old Town. The staff were friendly, more so those in the Vista Bar who were very helpful than at the reception but nevertheless, still friendly. Rooms were nice and clean, cleaned every morning for us to arrive to fresh bedsheets by each afternoon. Only negatives i can really find was that there were no double beds in the rooms, only 2 single beds joined together to lake a double, I had called and the man at reception said this was the case for the whole hotel. Entertainment at night could have been better also, we found ourselves leaving the hotel each night to find better.

GGuest UserThe pros: I arrived 2 hours earlier and was thankful that concierge checked me in immediately. The view from my room was wonderful and the breakfast variety was fine though the same menu was served daily throughout my 4 night stay. The vicinity of Lapad is not near to the old town, but I specifically selected the area/hotel to be away from crowds and large tour groups, so I’m happy with it. The area is beautiful, with plenty of rock coves for walks and exploration. The cons: Mirror to the cupboard was cracked and plastered over with aluminium tape, design of the room is definitely dated, carpets are a little stained though these are not important to me. As a solo female Asian traveller, I do observe that older staff, male especially, communicate with some sense of superiority towards me, in comparison to western guests. In other words, I do not feel welcome. That applies to Dubrovnik in general, while in Zagreb, service staff are much friendlier.

AALBLUWII had the best hotel experience during my stay in Dubrovnik. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Ms. Dine (or Jane) — she was absolutely wonderful, proactive, and a true asset to the team. I sincerely congratulate the hotel for having her. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable — 100%. The location was also perfect — 100%. Services were of a very high standard. Breakfast was a joy, and the restaurant team was outstanding. They greeted every guest warmly and genuinely helped make each morning a pleasant start to the day. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. I will definitely return, and I strongly recommend staying here. It’s truly worth every cent.

JJowoThe overall hardware facilities of the hotel are OK, the scenery is beautiful, it is best to choose a sea view room. If you don't need service, you should be able to spend a satisfactory holiday here; But in fact, this is a 5-star hotel. Generally, partners who choose 5-star hotels mostly choose service experience (that is, ourselves). As a result, this hotel has almost ”0” service; from the entry-level luggage pick-up and drop-off problems, front desk service, and catering services, the whole process requires ”self-sufficiency” The service is the worst 5-star hotel I have stayed in so far. In addition, Dubrovnik is expensive among the cities in Croatia, so if you choose this hotel, you can refer to the cost-effectiveness comparison of the old city hotel when traveling. The parking lot provided by the hotel is charged, 10 euros/day. Partners who drive can park their cars on the roadside next to the hotel (the hotel front desk will suggest this). The overall parking fee in Dubrovnik is relatively high. If you stay here to enter the old city, we choose Uber, which is 5-6 euros one way. The hotel breakfast varies from person to person. I am personally more satisfied; my husband thinks that compared with the rich products in the area, the breakfast category is still scarce. It is basically a Western breakfast. The hotel's own gym is pretty good, with a simple sauna room that guests staying here can use for free. Finally, I wish you all a happy trip to Dubrovnik.
