Our room was upgraded, the room was nice, we have a sitting room and an open kitchen. We enjoy sitting next to the window and enjoying our breakfast there. The location is extremely good, the surrounding subway stations, train stations, etc. are very convenient, there are many restaurants, the square, China Town, and the National Art Museum are very close, and there are many parks by the Thames River, all of which are good places for walking. Also within walking distance are Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The exterior of the building is also very grand, the lobby, restaurants and other public facilities are great, it looks like a luxury hotel (and the price is indeed). But the room is a bit disappointing, it is too small, and it is very low, a bit depressing. It is said that it is a 1.5-1.8-meter bed, but it is actually only 1.5 meters. I asked the front desk that there is no 1.8-meter bed at all (or she didn't want to give us a room with a 1.8-meter bed). The facilities and furniture in the room are also simple, the windows are small, and the bathroom is very small. It feels like a domestic two-star level. Considering the high cost of land in central London, it is understandable, but still very disappointing.

We stayed as a family with our 2 year-old baby. The only real advantage of the hotel is its central location. However, we experienced several issues during our stay. There are only 2 elevators in the hotel, and one of them was out of service. We had to wait 5–10 minutes each time, which was especially difficult with a baby. The window in our room was very small and couldn’t be opened. Although there was a ventilation system, it was very noisy, making it hard for our baby to sleep. The electric heater in the room, which looked like a radiator, constantly made noise while operating, which negatively affected our comfort. The room phone was not working. If we needed anything, we had to go down to reception ourselves, which again meant long elevator waits. Breakfast was quite poor for a 5 star hotel. The variety and quality were below expectations. We stayed in an “Executive King” room, yet there wasn’t even a toilet brush in the bathroom, which we found to be an unpleasant oversight. On the positive side, the reception and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Also, having complimentary fruits and water available at the hotel entrance was a nice touch.

Absolutely loved the location and will definitely return. The service and attention to detail from the reception team especially is 10/10. Certain areas of the hotel need refurbishing - even if just a lick of paint for now as they aren't in line with the rest of the hotel. The room was small but practical and unfortunately didn't have the best of views but that's not an issue. I felt comfortable and safe during my stay. Had a minor issue with the air con unit which is very dated and didn't match the aesthetic of a modern and refurbished room which looks very appealing. Overall, would be very happy to visit again especially during the summer and try out their dinner menu.

The wall in the picture is the scenery outside the window! The room was so small that the two suitcases could not be fully opened! The bed is also huge and small. I'm a woman of average build, so it's just right. Land prices in London are too expensive. Don’t expect luxury rooms at high prices. They are incomparable to those in China. There is only one restaurant in the hotel. You can get food from the dining bar and order food. Anyway, after paying for breakfast, you can eat as much as you like (of course, don’t expect British food to be delicious!). What I can't understand is that I was notified to change rooms the next day. I thought it would be an upgrade, but the result... (For details next time, please see the second comment)

Great reception area Downside is £15 for a useless spineless breakfast. Variety is very less and they won’t make you fresh eggs either. There response was there is no kitchen to make eggs. There is only a pre-made scrambled egg which you scoop out from the tray, makes you want to throw up looking at it. Feel like I’m eating lame plane food plus I paid £15 for it. Absolute waste of time. Take it or leave it kind of approach too. If it was £5 it would be worth it. But for £15 it’s a waste of time, money and a waste on your digestion system. Poor intestines having to go through it. How are you gonna charge £15 for a breakfast but tell me there’s no kitchen. Daylight robbery. I get better breakfasts in Third world countries, this was like peasantry behaviour. I’d rather starve. Honestly, that messed up the whole stay. Other then that great hotel.

I'd not personally booked an accessible hotel room before but with this I didn't feel judged or anything for my invisible disabilities when checking in. It was amazing being able to sit on a chair with the rain shower right above my head. The shower was a large walk in one. The room was a short walk from the lifts, a lot of others I have to walk a bit of a distance to my room so this was another plus. Clean, comfy room with all that was needed for our short stay including a mini fridge with water waiting for us when we arrived.. My friend and I really enjoyed the pool and saunarium where we used a jet stream to make the swim more of a challenge. It's something I'd love to use a lot since my arthritis makes working out difficult. The saunarium wasn't as dry as saunas I've been to so I could stay in longer, I could've even fallen asleep in there 😆 All staff we encountered were very friendly. Great location close to nice restaurants and the o2.

To be honest, this could well have been a Premier Inn once you got your key - you certainly wouldn't want to spend any more time in the room than you had to! The shower fired horizontally (curious...), and everything just felt a tired. Ultimately, we stayed there because it was cheap, so we can't complain, but I was hoping a Hilton Double Tree might be a 'step up'. If your main concern is location/cost, you'll be well satisfied. If you want luxury though, you'd be better placed going elsewhere.

The pool area of the spa is nice but looking slightly tired in places (one of the sets of steps into the pool was broken) and my room was well equipped (with an amazing river view from the 14th floor) but a little characterless. But over all it was very good. I'd stay again!

Absolutely fantastic location! Will definitely stay here again if just for the heated toilet seat…what a great hotel. Rooms very comfortable and the staff can’t do enough for you. The doormen and concierge are super helpful. We didn’t get to try any of the restaurants but we will be returning so we will try then.

As we arrived staff greeted us, and were very helpful. Check in was easy. Room was very clean, very comfortable beds, coffee machine and everything we needed, including soft robes. Pool was nice a little cold but the hot tub was very warm so very much enjoyed. Again all areas were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK, some bits were alittle cold, but the chef cooked me poached eggs to perfection, and was a good range of cereals, pastries. All in all a very good stay and hope to go back Thank you Montcalm East 🙂

Fantastic location,beautiful lobby and eating areas.A lovely reading room where you could read newspapers and have a drink in a quiet place. The whole place was a quiet place really.The swimming pool is good plus the steam room and sauna. The food was excellent too. We went to see Back to the future musical and it was only over the road,that’s how good the location it is as well as Covent Garden being more or less over the road too. You really do feel like a film star staying there.Amazing place.

Corinthia is stunning in every moment. After searching around, this one is highly recommended by everyone! It's really amazing. After getting off the bus, the staff came over immediately to help with luggage and open the door. The first impression was perfect. Check-in at the front desk was also very fast. We arrived at the hotel after one o'clock and normally checked in at three o'clock. The room had been cleaned in advance. The staff took us into the room and introduced some specific facilities in the room. Soon the suitcases were delivered to the hotel for us. The elevator is very unique. There is a clock above to show the floor, which gives people a very different feeling. The hotel's service is meticulous. I believe that many times if you need room service, it will be a headache if you don't know clearly or there are some obstacles in communication. But here you only need to scan the code on the hotel table and you can communicate in real time directly through What's app. It's super Incredibly convenient. I asked for an ironing machine and adapter and they were delivered quickly. The hotel's slippers are also very special, very thick and feel good on the feet. The rooms are all equipped with bathtubs and heaters. It is a spa hotel after all. It is known as the best spa hotel. The spa facilities are really great. There is an elevator directly leading to the spa area on the room floor. The sauna pool and soaking pool are very comfortable. I come here every day to soak in it at night. Nine o'clock, if only it could be later. The breakfast was great, the fruit was fresh and the eggs were excellent. Of course, everything can't be perfect. There are still some small details. Most of the hotel employees are friendly and will say hello and cordial greetings when they see you. However, there are also some employees who will not say a word when they see you. Looking up and down, this makes people feel a little uncomfortable. The room we stayed in seemed to be connected to the room next door due to structural problems. We stayed for three nights. The sound from the opposite side was louder on the second night, which affected our rest. We contacted the hotel as soon as possible the next day, which was also very good. They took care of it and originally said they would change our room because we had too much luggage and really didn't want to move it. The hotel said they had communicated with the guests next door. Sure enough, the last night was very quiet and we spent it happily. The hotel also expressed its opinions. Sincerity, you can feel their attitude. All in all, it was an overall very satisfying trip. If I come to London next time, I will choose this place again.

The hotel was centrally located. I enjoyed the leisure facilities. The staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely. However, the room decor was tired and the carpet was smelly. On the morning I was due to leave (check out was 12pm) I was trying to have a lie in and was woken by housekeeping trying to get into my room on 3 separate occasions between 8.30 and 9am. I would have thought that all rooms with guests due to check out would be cleaned after the guest had checked out and not while they were in bed? After all this, the TV came on with the welcome message, of its own accord, just after 9am, lighting up the room. So much for my lie in!!!

Nice hotel tucked away a stone's throw from Deptford Bridge DLR station. Nothing really in the area other than a Co-op shop and takeout coffee shop so you'll likely be using the DLR to go to Cutty Sark for drinks and food etc. Didn't mention I had to pay a £50 deposit for any add-ons. Still waiting for this to be returned after checkout. Friendly staff and free warm cookie on check-in. Room was decent but as a solo room rather cramped and a strange design with the bed in the middle of the room with a cupboard behind with a bathroom behind. Light switch and plugs on the side of this cupboard. Also a bit of noise from above. Very good free WiFi and nice TV in room. Tea and coffee provided on an awkward kettle tray thing you need to somehow carry from behind the bed to the desk. Safe provided also. Desk also not ideal as you can't put your feet underneath properly as there's a shelf below. Aircon/heating decent but heater causes condensation on mirrors in wall. Rooms tidied and bed made every day which is nice. Didn't try the bar as no price list in the room and looked very posh/expensive. Overall a decent stay. I think someone needs to test run a stay in the room I stayed in though (room 1) just to see how unintuitive/awkward the room is. Would maybe stay again if cheap but would look for better location next time.

Would have been better if heating was put on in rooms before our arrival as rooms were freezing. Our shower cubicle was minute. Luckily we were not big people or would have struggled to shut the door . We loved the decor in the main hotel, lots of original features and history.
