Hotel 4-Star di Southern Province, Sri Lanka

They are closed with decorative wooden shutters, as the hotel is decorated in a traditional style. But opening these shutters means listening to all the sounds that you can already hear quite well, and in the evening mosquitoes will fly in. Some people won’t notice, but I was in a small room with no windows, and without daylight it wasn’t very good. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfasts are good. The hotel team is pulling out all the stops, but renovation of the rooms is already required))

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delightful—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved their seafood dishes, which were prepared to perfection. Another great feature was the location. It’s close enough to Mirissa’s main attractions but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, giving you the best of both worlds.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was a slightly older property but the owner and family were so helpful and lovely. The pool was great and the Yala national park was fun

在這之前，通過***********訂了Natural Cabanas & Floating Restaurant三個晚上，可住一個晚上就覺的不對勁。敢緊逃離此酒店。雖然多付了二晚的費用，但心情上完全不一樣。 對於上述酒店，我就不多寫評論了，衹是希望攜程絕對不要採用來害人。 而埃普爾迪克森別墅，完全可以安心。

The hotel is on Hikkaduwa Beach, about 20 kilometers from the ancient city of Galle. Very friendly host and his staff. The location is good. A really beautiful villa with all amenities. The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka (we had 9 hotels). The pool is amazing. The hotel staff swept and cleaned the area every day. But the floor in the room was a bit dusty. Slow breakfast service. The standard of this hotel and it's rooms, is exceptional! Definetly 10 out of 10 for mine ,as l have stayed in 100,s of hotels around the world over the past 30 years,( except for Covid) it;s not beach front ,but it is only a short scenic walk to a great beach area any way! The staff where very friendly and helpful in advice on where to visit etc. Would certainly stay again ,and l recomend this hotel to any one wishing to stay in this area.

I don't know if it's because there are too many restaurants on the beach, but it seems that no one is eating in the hotel. I ordered a takeaway breakfast before 6 am, which was considered punctual. I went downstairs 5 minutes earlier and there was no one at the front desk, haha. The hot water for the shower can only come from the ceiling-mounted showerhead, and the handheld shower can only give hot water. I asked the hotel to come to the room to check it out, and waited for 30 minutes. It was called twice, and it was confirmed that hot water only came from one end.

From the verandah in front of your room, you can watch the waves the whole day, there is no need to go to any of the beaches in Mirissa. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even cooked the fish we caught (for a fee). However, don't expect the same creature comforts of an international 4 or 5 star hotel despite being priced higher. The furniture is also rather dated and the room was not very clean. Overall a decent and memorable experience.

Very nice hotel with barbecue buffet It's right by the sea, the atmosphere is great at night, and you can surf during the day The room facilities are average, but OK. I recommend staying in that kind of house (the hotel's single-family villa is comfortable)

Mirissa Gate is an excellent hotel with a fantastic team managing. Everyone was so nice, incredibly helpful and they felt more like family members by the end of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There were days we missed breakfast time and they still made us a huge buffet breakfast! They organised our trips we wanted to do and they even upgraded our room for free, for no reason. It was just avaliable! Out of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was our favourite. It is right on the beach and not far from the famous mirissa beach which is either a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride, which the hotel help organised too. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The hotel is right on the beach, as if it has its own private beach. The sea breeze of the Indian Ocean is cool and cool. It sits on the balcony and looks at the ebb and flow of the Indian Ocean. The room is large, fully equipped and comfortable. What?
